A few more points and the whole Aleppo rebel offensive will have been reversed. It seemed likely they would fail in the long run when they couldn't widen their breach. That is alot of men and equipment the jihadists lost for nothing.
They named the offensive after Ibrahim Yusuf, an officer who killed 32 people in Aleppo during the Islamist insurgency in the 70's by seperating Alewites from Sunni cadets in a military school and killing them. They promised to "finish what he started". Guess no sectarian slaughter in the end, probably very dissapointing for them.
