You can buy a Chinese quad rotor drone on Alibaba for $50 bucks a pop and start your own delivery service.

Now why would I buy a drone to deliver food to myself?

And if my cooking skills were up to snuff, why would I be ordering take out?

So
-aleppo hunger siege may be back on
After weeks of rebels gleefullly showing results of failed regime human wave attacks to reclose it there now seems to have been actual regime gains after sudden increase in ruaf strikes (70 in one day!) In the area followed by push.
This seems to be timed with push by russia for 48hr ceasefire and deal

-ghouta rebels making sudden gains in push

-turk and fsa forces 10k from.complete removal of all isis held territory on border
Isis seem to be fighting rebels in qualmoun region and hitting regime outposts in homs desperate for some sort of win anywherre

-unconfirmed talk of infighting in fsas southern front over their inactivity

- 100s of hezbollah deployed to hama to stop rebel gains there as well as regime mascot general hassan
The rebels are taking many towns and villages and have publicaly declared that the regime not shias etc are the enemy
The main bulwark for the regime remains 3-4 untaken pro regime fortress towns like maan where a lot of the infamous 'tiger forces' militas come from
As well as the military airport...widely predicted the stand will be around these places not the city itself which would favour the rebels numbers and nulify air power,if they fall the city's fall would be a given.

Rebels managed to keep the southern supply line to Aleppo open for a month before regime finally managed to recapture the gap and start the siege.

-last isis held village on turk border taken!

-rebel assault on regime strongpoint of maan begins

-us russia deal not quite there yet apparently

-rebels tell civilliams around aleppo that counter offensive starts soon to cover.

-2nd chopper destroyed this week ...this time apparently by grad (must be on runway)

-arab fsa linked forces in sdf break from kurds to form anti assad anti ypg force.

-sadr in iraq to announce masive workers strike , may disrupt anti isis efforts there as shia goverment employees, logistics etc drop tools.

The seige was reestablished almost two weeks ago when regime forces managed to close Al-Ramousa Road. The recent gains made against the rebels is a direct result of rebels being unable to resupply their forces in the area.

Id disagree its got nothing to do with supplies (they took enough from artillery college alone to last months)
And more to do with a sustained concentrated effort by regime militas taking lossses and ruaf stepping up bombing all to link up with russian peace talks.

I wonder if the situation in Aleppo is going to lead to rebel infighting as those some troops participating in the Turkish offensive are most likely off from the Aleppo front.

Elsewhere Iraqi forces discover a IS weapons workshop focusing on production of rockets and heavy mortar shells.

And thats why nobody likes arabs.

Turkish AH-1W SuperCobra shot down by Igla-1 manpad operated by PKK guerilla in Hakkâri Province.

These modern manpads seems to be making a real mess out of choppers. Are attack helos as redundant as they seem?

Yeah there was some serious discontent
The recent counter that took a regime neighbourhood (started by remote vied spectacular) was one faction all on its lonesome.
They all seemed to have kissed and made up now they have announced proposed one rebel faction military command being formed (il hold my breath) , and proposal presented (mainstream news picked it up) for new goverment After assads removal.

Meanwhile
Turk/fsa force announces assault on al bab area ...they continue to take huge swathes of isis territory

Iranian general Solemoni (spelling)pictured in south aleppo among iraqi militas there

IS takes out two Turkish tanks, second shot is really pushing the maximum range of ATGM used (not sure which but not a :eek::eek:ot or a TOW) at some 4 km. Nicely shows how it is never quite safe from a constant ATGM threat.

Washington post reports u.s giving russia end of week to reach deal (or what?)
Deal if sealed will involve both rebels and regime militas pull back to form a buffer zone to allow humanatarian aid into aleppo
Followed by whats left of syria air force grounded while ruaf and us air co ordinate on isis.

Tel Kurdi in East Ghouta is pretty much in government hands now.

So seems regime in big push for aleppo now
1000 iraqi militas arrive and new chlorine attack reported while some moderate rebs moving to join fsa/turk force

Isis in push in qualamon mountains still..they really want a win somewhere
