I was giving him the benefit of the doubt and assumed he really meant the "Divas" title, because if he was saying she's the greatest female wrestling champion ever than we're all doomed.

Best I've seen which means better than trish/lita/AJ/Chyna/Stephany/Beth/etc... I don't watch anything outside of WWE so maybe their is better women centered productions elsewhere as Heratic stated. But I find that hard to believe

Trish is not better than Nikki.. She was just the first to make the womens division relevant in any measurable sense. Trish was defiantly a game changer but Nikkis is the result of 10 years of evolution past the concepts that Trish set in motion.

You guys have got to recognize the difference between being a pioneer and being the best. Trish was without a doubt the best in her prime.

Just because someone became better than someone who was very important to product evolution doesn't discredit that OG.

Just because Albert Einstein surpassed Isaac Newton doesn't make Newton a scrub.. Hes still a legend and paved the way for what Einstein was able to do but if you think Newtons work is more advanced than Einsteins then you lose your privilege to make opinions about subjects.

Nikki and a lot of other women still wrestle like they're fragile, and they don't commit to the moves, nor are they particularly athletic. Lita/Chyna/Trish were definitely better.

Chyna? Seriously? Chyna was the Braun Stowman of womens wrestling.. I respect lita for having the balls to do High flying moves.. And your point about not commiting to moves is certainly valid.. But thats why womens wrestling as a whole is garbage not why a single womens wrestler is doing something wrong. Women simply aren't durable enough to do this.. But Nikki's style shows more diversity and aggression than anyone from the past... And the mid tier women are so good at taking bumps on her attacks compared to the old days it makes her look even better.

Everything not named rock or austin is better now than pre-2000... EVERYTHING

Duh. The AE wasn't just some stylistic fad. It was literally the best era in PW history. You can argue otherwise until you're blue in the face, but there is a reason why viewership was 4x back then, than what it is today.

Other musings...

WWE doesn't book them on the main show because they know that people don't care about the Divas.. It would be a huge mistake to devote more than 1 segment of the show to the entire "divas division"..

The attitude era absolutely was a fad... Which is why it died off.. WWE kept the good and left the bad. As I've stated in almost every response I make to your posts. You are emotionally attached to this time period which is why all of your arguments over it are emotional and totally lacking of empirical substance. It's ok for the AE to be your favorite but stop calling it better.

For the 4th time. Comparing ratings in 2015 to a pre-internet society is a point of desperation. Especially since you know damn well that its a moot point. The walking deads ratings today were dwarfed by non prime time shows from the 90s. BECAUSE BROADCAST TELEVISION WAS THE ONLY VENUE OF ENTERTAINMENT BACK THEN.

Really? I guess you missed the whole Paige/Charlotte closer to RAW....and the matches showcased on Raw and Smackdown.

That paige/Charlotte ending to RAW was terrible.. Just because it happened doesn't suddenly make the Divas main eventers.. WWE is clearly experimenting and gauging reaction. I bet you now that Ronda lost and has gotten crucified by so many fans they won't continue to push the Divas the way they have been over the last few months.

My opinions aren't uninformed, you are ignoring them because you have nothing to say that doesn't grotesquely display your emotional bias.

BTW how many main event segments was Trish Stratus in? Since she was the goat?
