Is UFC 311 a PPV blockbuster or just a special event for longtime fans?

we litteraly had ufc 300 less than a year ago that started with two ex champion ufc 311 is good but its not the best card ever.

UFC311would have been an average card back in 2016

That came up earlier and I agree 300 was a better full card overall clearly.

But for just the PPV give me 311 over 300 everyday. Also clarified I hated the fight matchup of Justin vs Max going into the PPV, obviously I was wrong on that and it turned out awesome. But leading into the event the matchup annoyed me more than it excited me.

Its a great card and probably will be top 3 cards of the year with int fight week, maybe Abu Dhabi or MSG. and like Hellowhosthat said top two fights are clear top two in the div, both are great fights and clear fights that had to be made so thats always good to see.

As for is it a blockbuster to average fan probably not, def not to casual fan. got NFL playoffs on Sat too so it will get completely overshadowed by that for sports fans but to hardcores its an excellent card. Cant wait for Sat night.

I think on paper it is almost as good as 300 and 301.

The whole PPV portion is solid.

If they replaced Holland/RDR with slightly more relevant title contenders or a low tier WMMA it would be best card of the last 18 months.

Otherwise it's a pretty average card for a PPV

Main fights have the potential to be boring. Let's see how it plays out.

Speak for yourself, I'm from Canada and not religious in the slightest and I'd say it's a pretty damn good card, at least compared to many of the PPV cards over the past few years.

You're not wrong and I made an exception for 300 but my days of live prelims are mostly gone. With 4 kids 6 and under, I can't pull off watching them all day. I watch the PPV live then go back and cherry pick the prelims afterwards on ESPN+ until I fall asleep.

Man, I only have three, 12, 8 (and a 46 ) and same, I just watch a few prelims on Sunday morning when I'm on the stationary bike while the others are sleeping.
