The Fertittas were huge fans of the sport and I think they did a much better job of being star makers and finding that balance between winning and being exciting. There's probably more great fighters on the current Roster they just don't get the promotion or exposure like in the old days. EMG seems to be in it for the money and I wouldn't be surprised if Ari doesn't even watch most of the events.
