I know people will mention To Kill a Mockingbird. Which was also great.

But I believe McConaughey delivery in Time To Kill is legendary. When I first saw this movie, I thought Matthew was the second coming to Marlon Brando. He had the striking good looks and unquestionable talent.

 
Haven't seen it for a while but that scene always stuck with me. Its definitely up there.
 
It was well done. McConaughey poured it on a little thick with the weeping, though.

It's definitely up there. Although technically it wasn't a closing argument, Emma Thompson was great as well.

 
IIRC He doesn't make that argument in the book, it was actually one of the female jurors .
