Is this site running unusually slow for anybody else?

Yesterday, for a few hours, I couldn't even load a page on the forums.

My 4G connection was very fast, for once. I downloaded youtube videos at 3MB a second. Yet couldn't load a forum page.

Been running seamlessly since then.

Well it's Saturday and I'm having all kinds of trouble with pages loading. Especially off of the front page news articles. Keeps telling me it's a long script issue. What is this?

Its flash player. This site in particular shows Firefox down to a crawl because of how it uses flash.
