Is there even demand for Conor in 2025???

Don't see him doing MMA any time soon. Pretty sure he's going to stay in boxing. He only lost his last fight and that was to a fairly decent champ up 2 weight classes. He'd still be considered just outside the top in the welterweight division if he went back there.

Yes , the amount of people identifying as McGregor fans has drastically decreased, however the amount of people who want to see someone kick his face in has increased exponentially
 
I think he really sucks as a human and is far, far beyond his fighting prime but there's no doubt in my mind that he will sell the unholy hell out of whatever card he's on. He's still the top draw.

Relevant and Demand is two different things.

It really doesnt matter if Conor is relevant, he still is gonna draw huge crowds, and cause enough schenanigans in the lead up to get people to watch.

It just seems like his body cant hold up from the training, and he has been drinking and doin drugs on a daily basis.

Although If he ever got to BKFC, well, he doesnt need to train much to do that.

Conor is by far the most famous MMA fighter still to this day and would draw the biggest numbers of any MMA fighter. like another guy said his fame has transcended the sport. Terrence Crawford even mentioned Conor when trying to explain how he has never heard of Ilia Topuria. My wife knows who Conor McGregor is and she literally wouldn't be able to name one other MMA fighter, besides maybe Tito because we grew up near Huntington Beach.

The question "is there demand for Conor?" sort of insinuates people are asking for a Conor fight. That's not how it works for a celebrity like him. No one is asking for the Conor fight but if it is announced and takes place it will draw more than any other fighter could.
 
Yeah it's a weird deal, the dude hasn't done anything of note in years. Last two fights, he got his butt kicked pretty bad by Poirier (he was definitely on his way to losing the 2nd fight before the break). Got completely embarrassed by Khabib as well. He's done nothing but assault women and men in bars along with various other broken laws. He's spent more time settling lawsuits than in the ring. Yet, I'm sure he'll still be a huge draw if he comes back.

The Poirier fights that he lost were still exciting striking battles for what they were.
 
TS is right, and he's still a top 5 needle mover.

When you consider possible injuries and the lack of qualified stars, there is a good chance Jon gets this spot, maybe even against a mediocre opponent.
 
he obviously is. He throws our tweets once a month about a comeback for the last 3 yrs and social media eats it up every time
 
I still think he'd draw more than any other fighter. I don't think he fights again in UFC.

In 2026 Connor isn't drawing shit.... there was little buzz buzz leading up to the planned Chandler fight... Before "ME TOE... ME TOE..." shit canceled that farce...
When connor WAS a huge draw there were and I'm not kidding al least 100 sycophants of his on here running their mouths daily... if connor farted there were three posts about it in 5 minutes and they would be 30 pages each... now really the only threads about him that aren't started by trolls are all completely negative relating to his downward spiral... the honesty of the situation is current day coked out of his mind connor moves like he's 60 and will probably get starched by a nobody....

No bullshit my honest opinion... he should fight Perry in bare knuckle... that would be the biggest draw he could attain and perhaps PPV payday...
Now, is the UFC brass gonna let that happen... doubtful even though they dropped his ass...

Khabib, Jones and Ngannou aren't in the same league as Conor as far as draw power and fame. When Bud Crawford was asked about MMA the other night, the name he brought up was Conor. You are thinking like a sherdogger and a MMA fan - Conor goes way beyond that. Conor has 46.5 million IG followers. The majority of his fan base are not MMA fans, they are celebrities, athletes, wanna-be influencers, casuals, and ultra-casuals.
