Is there even demand for Conor in 2025???

polarizing figure and someone people want to spend money on to cheer for and watch fight are two very different things...
No, its not.

You either want them to win or you pay to see them die.

In 2026 connor isn't in the same league as 2016 connor, And Never Will Be. There is no redemption arc short of him repelling down the side of a burning skyscraper with a baby in his arms saving it from certain death does he regain even a shred of his former popularity... Did you see the poll in the other thread.... he's a washed up, coke addled, has been and Nobody that cares for the sport gives a fuck about connor...
you are thinking like a real MMA fan. Conor draws people who have never been on an MMA forum. People who can't name 1 other fighter. People who don't keep up on Conor's personal life and don't give a shit about that. On top of those, plenty of real MMA fans will tune in out of sheer curiousity.

Conor is unique in that casual MMA fans still likely want to see him win but the hardcore fans want to see him get smashed.

I really wish there wasn't demand, he'll clear 1M buys easily if there still are PPV buys. I was a fan of his rise up, but he's a clear example of what can go wrong when fighters get paid too much.

The majority of his fan base are not MMA fans, they are celebrities, athletes, wanna-be influencers, casuals, and ultra-casuals.

These are basically all the same thing.

Conor is washed.

Jon too.

Now they tryna act like they can get Rhonda.

For the white house dinosaur exhibition fights.

Casuals are mma retarded, never underestimate them. Plus people hate buying to hope to see him get KO'd. The long drawn out time in between probably brings interest.

Wish it wouldn't sell, but it would. Silver lining maybe UFC would stack the rest of the card and maybe someone else can get popular.
