If the word is used negatively towards another person to induce a negative feeling in that individual, then it's absolutely racist.

If any word is used to insult another person's ethnic background or negatively point out stereotypes about their race, then it should be considered racist.

I don't think you can insult me with any slur towards being white. That doesn't mean I didn't know what you were trying to do. You were trying to be offensive. Also just because I am not offended by it doesn't mean other people won't be.

Wtf I wasn't talking about you personally. I meant hypothetically if someone/you called me a cracker with the intent of trying to bash me for being white I wouldn't care. But I still know that someone/you were trying to be offensive. That doesn't mean another white person wouldn't be offended if hypothetically someone/you called them that.

Racism is the feeling that your race is superior to another on a biological level. Black people don't hate white people because they're white. They hate white people due to the oppression of their race over a long period of time. The term "cracker" in reference isn't racist because their are various and valid reasons other than race that black people hate white people for.

so why do black people hate mexicans,indians and koreans? I guess when you excuse racism against one group it must be easy to extend that to everyone who is different from them. a fine example of liberal academic social engineering in action.
