Is the Rate of Pitbull Attacks Higher In US than UK

Not telling you to either. But I know my dogs well enough to trust them. Pitbulls use to be used as Nanny dogs in the early 1900s.

I wonder if those parents felt the same way you do. I'm sure they did if they left the kids alone with the dog on multiple occasions.

I couldn't live with the guilt.

My dogs have never bit me but I know your dogs have bitten you

I'm sure your high cholesterol or diabetes will end you soon enough. Enjoy breathing heavy and breaking chairs you fat sack of shit.

if they expand the dangerous dogs act in the uk to include all dangerous breeds, then border collies are trouble.

I dont hear to many stories coming out of the UK about pittbull attacks and wondering is Americans are training them differently than the Euros. I do remember one story about a owner being attacked on TV over there but that is about it. anyone know the if US has a higher or lower rate.

That would require knowledge of how many pit bull terriers there are in the UK. It's also a question of breeding goals. In the US where dog fighting was, and still is, common, the fighting dogs were bred for their aggressive tendencies. Dogs intended to be pets are bred for less aggression. As with any selective breeding, some regressive traits will still be present in some animals.

I have a 3 year old niece who plays with my pits alone all the time. She has pulled their ears, tail, ect and all they dog is get up and walk away or lick her. While I understand why most would never dare do this, I know my dogs and I 100% trust them as does my sister which is why she allows it.

And I know some will judge me for this and say they will eventually attack her or some BS but it won't ever happen. I know this.

There are plenty of YouTube videos with pits and babies/toddlers ect that confirms what I'm saying.

Does this mean it works for everyone or every pit? Absolutely not. But for mine, they would never hurt a fly and I mean that.

I had friends who thought the same thing. Their 6 year old pit grew up with their daughter and was always a very friendly dog to everyone. One day the dog bit his 4 year old daughter's hand and wouldn't let go. When he tried to get the dog to let go, it attacked him inflicting several serious bites. Never say never!

The name of the breed is the American Pit Bull Terrier. Wtf do you think?

Pitbull owners are scumbags and should be sent to Australia
I would say delusional is more like it.

"B-b-but I have a pit and she's the sweetest!" Yeah... because it's your fucking dog. You feed it. They're not likely to attack you, but even then they're too unpredictableto bank on that. They could lose their shit and start biting from the most random of stimuli.
