Is the Rate of Pitbull Attacks Higher In US than UK

I dont hear to many stories coming out of the UK about pittbull attacks and wondering is Americans are training them differently than the Euros. I do remember one story about a owner being attacked on TV over there but that is about it. anyone know the if US has a higher or lower rate.

Staffordshire Bull Terriers tend to take the same position as "hard man dogs" and yeah attacks happen, rescue shelters are full of them as well.

The were banned precisely because there were so many shit owners. They're small and tough, so were a favorite of chavs with small penises who live in small flats in council estates. Not exactly the most responsible people. They claimed the legislation helped prevent dog fighting as well, but both the chavs and the dog fighters moved onto staffies which are pretty much the same thing.

I have 2 pit bulls who are more friendly and loving than majority of all dogs

They are naturlly aggessive which can be used for good or bad. If a burglar broke into my house they would lick him to death.

They have a bad rep which I understand but you don't judge an entire race off a few bad apples nor should you with dogs.

I'd imagine part of the issue with pit-bulsl is that there friendly temperament much of the time can lead people to underestimate there potential for aggression in certain situations.

Honestly though if you just want a friendly family pet get a Golden Retriever or a Labrador.

People judged race all the time in the US sadly. Pitbulls can cause alot of damage in a short time. I would never leave my kids alone with a pit.

They are naturally strong and aggressive so if PEOPLE use their strengths for fighting and they teach them to bite and attack ect. Then they are going to be disastrous for anyone or anything that gets in its way.

Pitbulls are loyal to their masters and do as their masters command. My dogs immediately do as I say when i say it except attack people or hurt anything because they weren't trained to do so or taught to do it.

My pits are wimps compared to most dogs, not other pits but dogs. They are gentle and loving. When I play with my oldest pit who is 2, she nibbles at my hand gently at all times and she only does this with me. Sometimes I yelp in pain (which I never ever have been in) just to see her reaction and she always lowers her ears and immediately starts licking my hand as to say Sorry.

She is the best dog I've ever owned.

I understand why most have an issue with pits and I understand it but when they personally attack me or judge me for my 2 pits I take it personal. They can be the best dogs ever if you train and teach them well instead of neglecting them or using them for fighting purposes.
