Is this going to be like Post-Weidman Silva in terms of future opponents not being intimidated by him now that he lost to a good fighter with short notice?

Or is he going to come back like GSP in a sense that he is going to dominant but also conservative?

Or nothing has changed and he will continue with his movement training like its business as usual?

P.S: Is Joe Riggs spared with is commitment?

yes in one sense no in another

yes in the whole multi division champion/ GOAT line of thinking that his nuthuggers had

no in the sense he could still clear out the FW division because of his size and power advantage

i am glad he lost and am looking forward to an Aldo rematch and a fight against frankie

yes. he's kinda fucked really (for the biggest paydays at least).

145 is going to be really hard to get down to, and there's Frankie and Aldo waiting.

at 155, I don't see it. Maybe, big maybe, he can beat Cerrone. But he'll never beat RDA, Khabib or even Alvares.

Hes a smart guy,he will figure it out.

yes Aldo wont be shook in the rematch after seeing that, which is a bad thing cause hes a person whos mentally weak.
it takes someone like a diaz bro to say fuck you conor (or anderson silva) and boom your suddenly not shit.
im convinced aldo can take some of those shots (not that he wants too) if his feet are planted, no lunging towards a counter puncher like conor.
my biggest take is conors lack of a jab.

I'll say no because if he wins his next fight at 145 people will just write this off as him taking too big of a risk.

His giant paydays are def gone after this fight.

Nah. He'll still steamroll short armed opponents.

If he works on his ground game a lot, he can probably get back up to his current status.

He has an interesting "story" that the UFC can push.

he'll still be able to get under people's skin and in their head

Well, he lost, so obviously he'll never win another fight or draw another big gate or buy rate ever again.

No.
I think just having the balls to move up two weight classes will get him a pass in the long run.
He should definitely stick to featherweight and lightweight though.

he'll still be able to get under people's skin and in their head

I dont think it will as easy as it used to be.
A loss take away a lot of that.
Also people can now get back at him with the 3 days camp Diaz.

Not fully. If Edgar dominates him it will be fully gone.

Did you just compare Silva, the guy who still holds the record for most title defenses in the UFC even with guys like Jones and GSP, and aho handily beat fighters from the LHW division, with Conor McGregor??
