I'm gonna say yes, 'cause of how salty I'm going to be if he beats Glover. The UFC needs Glover. MMA needs more people like Glover. That man's a true martial artist. And Jiri's mainly just flashy.

Yeah fans will like him, other fighters maybe not. Also he doesn't fight humble, he just may seem humble because of language barrier. But people that fight with flashy styles are not humble. Their fighting style is a reflection of themselves. You can't fight like that with a humble mindset. It's confidence.

That's not true at all . Jiri is very respectful after fights, and almost every fighter is confident of themselves going into the cage . Jiri's flashy style is just him being him, he dosnt even talk shit In the cage like a lot of fighters .
So yeah just because he likes to throw spinning elbows dosnt mean he has a massive ego or some shit...

I completely disagree.

Also there are a ton of prick fighters that just do the grindy style.

Colby being one.

As counter to your statement.
Genki Sudo is one of the most respectful and well respected fighters of all time.

He has demons from his previous life as a vampire hunter and it shows in his performance when humans are involved, blah.

You are talking about his personality outside of fighting. I'm talking about the way he fights. It's not humble. You can be respectful and fight flashy. But you can't fight like that without confidence, flashy fighting style requires a lot of confidence in order to fight in that way. People's fighting style is a reflection of themselves/personality. Just like Anderson Silva, everyone thought he was humble because he didn't say much stuff but to Brazilians they saw him different because they understood what he would say. Same with Canelo, once he learned english he started talking shit. You can't fight the way they fight and not be confident in yourself and abilities.

Some play the GSP role and plays nice. Others don't. Some don't want to play small and understand the amount of work they put in and they are proud of it.

You are talking about their personality. That doesn't always coincide with their fighting style. I am talking about the way they fight and their real mentality. Because that's what's exposed when they fight. People's fighting style is a reflection of themselves.

Grinding style is their style, they know they can grind you out, so it's part of their prick personality.

Yeah I'm sorry but I just fundamentally disagree with the foundation of your argument . Fighting styles aren't a "reflection of someone's personality" . You say your not talking about how someone acts outside the cage and then straight up contradict that lol. As someone pointed out to you Colby has a non flashy grinding style and he's the least humble out of any fighter I know of . Genki Sudo and I would say Silva are very humble , Wonderboy Thompson is very humble . Your premise just dosnt make sense and it only takes a a little bit of thought to see the massive contradictions and lack of correlation between personality and fighting style . People fight with the style they like and what wins them fights . Strickland or Holland and other people who talk alot in the cage are people who don't fight humble but that's the talk not their fight style .

I did flashy shit all the time so maybe there's something to it.

Saint Jiri is impossible to dislike or disregard. His destruction of Reyes was the art in mmA.

He will be champ, even if he loses to Glover the UFC will keep giving him title fights.

some dorks here try it's really embarrassing. Everyone should embrace this man and hope for him to become a champion.

You couldn't be more off the mark. Jiri is a true martial artist himself, he' a true warrior who is respectful and kind. Glover is just lucky to be where he is. It's great he won the title because honestly I never thought much of anything about jan, but glover's cinderella story comes to an end. a new chapter of LHW greatness will begin. Embrace it.

Jiri is a few fights away from losing his chin. lets see how far justbleed takes him
I wouldn't even be surprised, he goes completely YOLO every fight he's bound to get KTFO again. I just enjoy watching that level of aggression, really can't complain.
