is Silva legacy didn't aged well?

Silva is the GOAT. Only Jones can surpass him so far, and he has a little more to do before that happens.

It makes all you nerds squirm and squeal.

he went the distance with izzy not to long ago aswell as DC not to long before that

he was 38 when he lost to weidman before that he looked unstoppable and those fighters he beat where good he just got old and his strengths rely on him being young and fast
Should've just stuck to his original plan of not fighting past 35.

People do that about every champ that ever lived. Recency bias is real

dick pills don't look good on a resume.

Only reason people think GSP has a stronger strength of schedule than Anderson is because he fought a ton of wrestlers back when people thought wrestlers was unstoppable

His resume is filled with one dimensional fighters

And bloated LWs

Usually if someone is 38, has about 40 fights, and doesn't look remotely like they used to then they aren't in their prime.

Silva looked the same as he always had in his fight before Weidman. Usually if someone is on steroids his prime gets extended by 10 years. Ask Belfort, Hendo and Couture.

Oh Thundergrease, you realize you don't have to cry in every thread about Anderson right? Don't get too worked up about him being past his prime when he fought Weidman.

Nobody ages well if they keep fighting longer than they should. You can apply that argument to any single fighter that goes on a long skid when it's past their time.

I remember people called him the goat not long time ago

But now i often see people saying that most of the actual MW roster/champs could have beat prime Silva.

Whittaker, Adesanya, Romero, Jacare, Moussasi, Rockhold (before his fall), Weidman (proved) etc

is Silva the Ronda Rousey of MW? Ultra dominant in a previous era when fighters where not as good as now?

Dumb ass froze to death lol

Never thought he was the GOAT, but he had a great career. Fighting past your prime doesn't really diminish that IMO.

What has fucked his legacy are the multiple drug test failings.

His dominance was scary during his time, but since he popped and took a bunch of fights for extra cash it's dented his legacy.

That's just Sherdog, his legacy will age very well. He fought past his prime, like Muhammad Ali and many other greats (SRR, Joe Louis). On Sherdog that means he was never any good, but most fight fans have better sense.

You can pick apart any potential GOAT's resume just because it happened 5 - 10 yrs ago. Its not really fair. Anderson in his prime cant exist in two different decades at the same time. Sorry you had to hear it like this. He did what he could with what was available. What he did was pretty good.

Yep, all of the guys you named would beat prime Silva, other than Mousasi.
Mousasi beat Weidman. How could Rockhold beat Silva with his glass chin up? But you talk about Rockhold before his fall. That somehow doesn't apply to Silva, who is a lot more battle worn than Rockhold.

your mom doesnt age well too

making fun of the english of a non native english speaker is a pussy move

speak french or russian to see a little bit?

sure don’t. But if you are going to make a thread title disparaging the GOAT, at least do it well.

No such thing as the GOAT, only the greatest of his/her era which Anderson was.
