He is 19 year old and showed similar stand up skills as wonderboy. His takedown defence sucks and his ground game is mediocre, but he has all the tools to improve in those areas and become a lethal striker just like wonderboy.

I'm willing to bet that Sage is better than how wonderboy was at 19 year old.

Yes I do, and just curious do you know who his brother is? Here's a clue, he's an 8th degree coral belt in BJJ and trained with Helio.

That didn't translate well into the octagon for a much more experienced Thompson though so I'm not sure how a 19 year old Thompson would stop Sages offense.
Much better BJJ practitioners than 19 year old Thompson had issues when someone attacked them and hit them on the ground

I must admit I was biased against Captain America because I thought he was just a dream poster boy for Dana now to bring the One Direction fan base to the UFC it's bad enough dealing with the new Conor casuals. It seemed we were heading towards a screaming girlz & casual fan convergence.

I was very impressed with Sage's grit & heart when he was in tough spots Saturday night he showed honest potential. I hope he's brought along slowly with competitive fights and drilled hard in the gym to even up his fight game in all areas. Sage my apologies for the months of dogging and poke @you posts you earned my respect Captain America, sorry Sage...

Literally almost every other fighter in the UFC his age that wins has looked better at fighting at the time they were his age including Vitor, Rory, Michael McDonald, Max Holloway, and etc.

Nobody likes him for his fighting ability. That isn't to say there is no chance he cannot improve simply that he is incredibly average at best right now.
