Is Sage the most talented 19 year old ufc fighter ever?

Crazy how the "big leagues" of mma suddenly becomes a development league when you're good looking.
He's a average Joe at best, Only thing going for him is his body. But as proven you can only do so much to hype him without failing.

haha. Sorry but Sage now wouldnt beable to sub Wonderboy. He was already belted in japanese JJ when he was 19. Switched to BJJ when he was 20. 1st degree black belt in Tetsu Shin Ryu Ju-Jitsu[

Japanese jiu jitsu has very klittle to do with BJJ let alone that MMA grappling is much different than pure BJJ. Sage would take him down and knock him out his offensive grappling and wrestling and his GnP are pretty good

All I know is that if you're less than good looking in the UFC, you better be really good lol.

Sure why not fuck mma history!! Also Brock is the greatest hw of all time, Conor is the straight up best fighter in recorded human history, and RRR would beat Floyd with 6 months training. Oh and Floyd with 6 months could be a UFC champ...there I think that covers it!

BJ Penn -

Penn placed first in the black belt division in the 2000 world championships (21 yrs old) The first non-Brazilian to win the black-belt division of the World Jui-Jitsu Championship. Submitted Matt Hughes to win the UFC title at the age of 25.

Jon Jones -

At 23 years old, Jones stopped Mauricio Rua to become the youngest champion in UFC history.

Sage is a talented young guy but I doubt he will be the the UFC champ at 23 years old. He is going to have to step up his game to match the accomplishments of Penn or Jones.

Ban granny panties. I think you've done your quota of attention seeking, shitty threads for the day.

Yori Nakamura japanese JJ practitioner pre-UFC. There are JJJ styles that are similar to bjj.

Mighty Mouse is one of the best fighters but he doesn't have the "it" factor. Skills will only take you so far without being charismatic.

Sage is in fact the LEAST talented 19 year old who entered the octagon.

What is the "it" factor exactly? I look at someone like Paige or Sage, and I see two over tanned, blonde, Barbie and Ken. However, their personalities couldn't be more vanilla and less interesting.

Max Holloway beat a UFC veteran with around 50 fights of experience in a 5 rounder when he was 18.

Vitor is THE young talent but if we're talking newer guys Max Holloway >>> Sage. Even tho both had shaky fight IQ in the beginning.

They have it, But UFC failed to capitalized but pushing them to the moon way to soon. Only bright side is their both still very young and still have time to groom.

PMSL Rory MacDonald was beating Nate Diaz at 20 and seconds from whooping Condit,

Max Holloway at 20 is 100 times better too.

It's so hard to prognosticate talent in mma. I guess we'll hope for the best and see what happens.

And do you know that Thompson's style is? And even if it is Thompson had issues with grappling even at a much more experienced age. Sage takes him down and stops him.

Yes I do, and just curious do you know who his brother is? Here's a clue, he's an 8th degree coral belt in BJJ and trained with Helio.

Talented in fighting, no, there have been plenty of more talented young fighters in the UFC.
