Wins most of his fights by finishes, exciting fighter and could be part of the Canadian cards?

What do yall think

Dont know why Ford aint already in the UFC. Hes got the look, the finishes etc. Dude should be in the UFC.

Yes he should be, but then again Jake Shields should be in the ufc anyway.

To probably the best WW on the planet and wasnt even finished

Shields is still top 10 easily

When did Shields fight Johnny Hendricks?

anyways i though Ford wasnt allowed out of Canada and with his sketchy past the UFC might be hesitant.

I thought i heard on the MMA hour he can't fight in the United states. If that's the case then no.

You're just a belt follower, I bet you'd say that about Robbie Lawler if he won.

GSP is the best damn WW in the world.

No i just watched Hendricks beat Lawler with a torn bicep, so no. Hendricks also beat GSP in my opinion as well as the majorities.

Probably not. He can't get a Visa to fight outside of Canada due to his violent criminal record.

didn't know that about ryan ford. you're spot on though. he was sentenced to 4 years in prison for a home invasion where he took part in an assault of a woman and nearly cut off some of the guys fingers. crazy stuff.

never noticed he's only fought in canada. explains why he isn't with the UFC. Also explains why he only fights for bellator here and there. guess it'll be the same with WSOF.

I thought it was also the case for Mitch Gagnon?

Yeah, but maybe Mitch's criminal record is for drugs or something else instead of a violent crime like Ryan's which the UFC is obviously trying to distance themselves from lately (Thiago Silva, Rumble, etc).

^think hes just talking about the Visa to get out of Canada.

Sucks because Gagnon should probably be getting a top guy but he has to wait till the next Canadian card.

Too bad. I met this guy at a bar watching UFC in Toronto - maybe 3 years ago. I met him because I was staring so hard at his two girls, as they both looked like sexpots ready for a threesome and I was catching one's eye. I had no clue who he was. These girls literally had the look in their eyes that girls have WHILE you're f*cking them. Permanently. Like walking sex-energy transmitters. The kinds of girls you'd believe you could get to take off their clothes at the bar.

He approached and asked if I was staring at him. I thought "one of these guys who thinks he'd be noticed beside girls that sexy" and I told him (politely, like mama taught me) no, his two girls were very attractive and caught my attention. I said this politely as I'm not a douche or a tough guy. So he took no offense. He said "oh I thought you were staring because you recognized me! I'm a fighter like these guys. In a year or two you'll see me up there with these guys. My name's Ryan Ford, blah blah." Big smile on his face.

Made me promise to remember his name and look out for him. I reminded him of how sexy his girls looked and he agreed, quite proudly, with me. Showed no insecurities or issues. Seemed like a real humble guy.

Then I heard about his past and thought "damn, that's some real isht right there"..... but I can testify that he comes across in person as a real decent guy with no obvious hangups. He wasn't even the least offended at me looking at his girls and felt no shame that I didn't know who he was.

Seemed like a very comfortable guy. And he had two smoking hot, sexy, bisexual sex kittens with him, so the man knows how to entertain company.

AND his fighting is really fighting. Exciting fighter.

So he's good in my books.

This pretty much. He can't fight in the US due to criminal convictions. Probably would struggle to get licensed in Europe well in Sweden and U.K anyway. Snoop Dogg can't even get into England. Does anyone think UFC would sign him to just be able to fight in Canada and maybe Brazil?

Edit. Forgot Australia
