Is queen of England most powerful

Her family have ruled for years!! Not just England but most of Europe too.
Small country England but we elite like USA top 2

You do know the queen don't really run England right? It's a bunch of men in the background making all the decisions. The queen just sits on her iron throne sipping tea and looking all royal.
She controls the government. A government can't form without the queen

She rules England even if you think from. Back seat

She doesn't need a passport or drivers license.

I hear they own an obscene amount of real estate around the world.

The puppet master controlling the USA from the shadows.

British royal fanily do they have their fingers in a lot

I'm looking forward to the next king not Charles but William

LMAO. England isn't even top 2 in Europe bro. They hold no influence in the 21st century
If it kicked off

USA and uk would rule

USA are lot bigger they would carry us a lot but we have a great military and probably 2nd best

China and Russia are badass too

What did they do to Diana? She was an attention whore running from paparazzi at high speed with a drunk driver on a poorly designed French underpass and not wearing seat belts. Natural selection took it's course.
mi6 royal family played a part imo

1. She can declare war, under the rules of Royal Prerogative, without consulting parliment.

2. She is totally immune from prosecution in the UK.

3. Since technically the people of Britain are not citizens but subjects of the Monarch, she can have anyone she wants arrested and or also seize their property and lands for the crown.

4. She owns all of the sea beds around the UK and can commandeer any ship found in British waters "for service to the realm".

5. Under the "Prerogative Powers" of the crown, she can have administered any manner of punishment she sees fit to an individual and since she's immune from prosecution, nobody could really do anything about it even it was unlawful.

6. She can dissolve parliament and appoint anyone she fells like as prime minister, regardless of the public vote.

7. She ultimately controls the army. She is the Commander-in-Chief of the entire British military and all Military personnel swear allegiance to the Crown and no one else.

8. Being the ultimate military authority, she could authorize a nuclear strike or declare peace with a foreign nation.

9. while technically the Queen can’t create new laws, as she can only sign them into law after they’re decided upon by parliament (in fact, her Royal Assent is required to make the law official after being passed by parliament in the first place), she could appoint ministers who’d make any laws she wanted a reality and then just sign them into law that way.

10. Beyond Royal Assent, there’s also the Queen’s consent, which requires she give her consent before any law that affects the interests of the monarchy can even be discussed at all in parliament. (She actually has used this power before, such as in 1999 when she refused to allow the discussion of a bill that would have given parliament power to authorize military strikes in Iraq, instead of needing her authorization.)

11. he Queen technically has a sort of power not only over her subjects’ physical beings, but also their souls. How? She’s the head of the Church of England, including having the power to appoint Archbishops and power over many other such matters concerning the church.

12. She is exempt from Freedom of Information requests.

So, that's just a taste of what powers she actually has. Elizabeth has been very very careful throughout her reign to not abuse those powers. It's much easier for the plebeians to be controlled and kept docile if you give them the illusion of choice. However, I doubt she'd keep the silk gloves on if they tried to completely sweep away her families dynasty.

That's what's amusing about Brexit. Membership in the EU is ultimately the choice of the Queen. If she wants or doesn't want it it's within her powers to simple deal with it as she would like and she could back that up militarily if need be.

lmao

nobody gives a fuck about the royal family or the god damn queen. Not even British people
Not true at all. If there was a vote, I'd say the majority would want to keep the monarchy. A a large number of foreigners (mostly Americans and Asians it seems) are interested in the Royal family. You'll see next year with Will and that American woman getting married.

negative

the US President doesn't honestly have that much power, but its exponentially more than the monarchy in the UK currently has
The UK is still highly influential, in finance and largely world culture through it's BBC, shows/movies, and musicians, and their outlet system used in many of the former colonies

and well it probably has the third most effective military in the world behind only the US and maybe Israel.
those two points count for an awful lot though.
