Is Pantoja the most likeable UFC champion?

I think someone can find at least something negative to say about every UFC champ, hell even Poatan is supposedly not such a nice guy anymore cause he dropped some dude in sparring.

I can't think of a single negative thing to say about Pantoja.

The guy goes balls to the wall in every fight, never ducks anyone, always makes weight, never complains, never talks shit, just goes in there and handles business.

I like Joshua Van too, but man it's hard to root against Pantoja, he's low key one of the best fighters on the roster and doesn't get nearly enough shine.

I like Merab, but he's not everyone's cup of tea and I can see how some people can find him cringe and obnoxious. He also talks quite a bit, so yeah if you're a fan I guess he's ok, but I'm sure a lot of people would like to see him lose too.

Likeable is such a nebulous distinction. I couldn't possibly respect him anymore than I already do, but I don't think the majority of the fanbase really pay much attention to him outside of the cage.

But he may be the most commendable fighter by a mile or 2, I feel like those are similar yet separate metrics that most people would still end up conflating due to personal preference
