Is Paddy the largest LW ever?

Gray Maynard used to look massive, though i guess I'm thinking of the Frankie fights where he fought at walkaround pretty much.
Maynard later cut to FW and didn't seem that big. Frankie was just a tiny LW, especially by today's standards. I wanted to see him cut to BW and fight Cruz after he left LW. He did cut to BW once much later in his career.

But Paddy gets pretty much obese in between fights. Does not mean he is heavier on fight night.
Yeah, it's pretty crazy and I don't know if he can keep doing that as he ages. Rampage used to get pretty fat between fights, as well, but he was in a much heavier weight class.

Yeah too late though really, could have been GOAT BW you'd think. Of course LW was lowest I think when he came in so not many options.

Nate Diaz used to make 155 and he is three times the size of Conor McGregor, which puts him at 170x3 = 510 pounds.
That's what a pescatarian diet and weed will do for you...blow you up to 510 and you'll only be able to fight those early UFC sumo guys like Emmanuel Yarborough.

Dude looked big as fuck.
I'm not really adding anything to the thread because I'm no expert on body mass.

He was considered a big LW before the Frankie Edgar fight though.

Gray wrestled at 157 instead of 149, so he must have been pretty big.

We knew very little about how much fighters cut back then. Back then people thought Anderson was a big mw when he had the easiest time making weight. BJ Penm was tiny for a LW. Against Fitch he weighted 167lbs wearing jeans and boots

he has publicly stated numerous times he doesnt eat like that anymore since his kids were born. takes his career way more serious.
Seems to check out. He looked bigger and stronger Saturday than he has in any of his other ufc fights. Which is good, because I don't think he ever had a chance to reach the mountain top yo yo dieting like that. But with this new discipline, he might.

Paddy is pretty big for LW, I kept telling people here. Whatever you think of his skills he has age and size on his side to help him do better than most think.

so 5 months ago a vid got uploaded of him eating vs a professional binge eater.

paddy is definately a big LW but the biggest he has ever been is outside of fight camp where he still blows up like a balloon. this is basically before his fight with chandler.......so I dont understand how he has turned a corner. he knows how to cut weight but he doesnt know how to control himself.....this will catch up with him.

he is big but not the biggest. he is the biggest eater though, thats for sure.

Gray Maynard was a big LW for his time, I believe he walked around 185-190lbs. But so did Benson Henderson and a lot of fighters today.

Tibau would be my pick, he supposedly walked around a little over 200lbs.

Maybe... Maybe not.

Paddy did not blow-up and get fat between fights this time around.

New discipline and dedication, now that he is a little older and ranked.

I think Ranked-Paddy may be a different animal.
