its totally apparent to me that ariel turned a major corner somewhere, likely very recently.

he is the go to interview after every major card. dana tried to squash him but it didnt work. talking negatively about ariel now puts you in the doghouse.

Well Ariel def was able to turn the tables on Dana and Paddy,and that was cool,but him trying to act like a tough guy to Danis,is too cringe to withstand.

He also tries to play matchmaker which irritates me to no end.

Other than that though,he gets great timely interviews after the cards.

People ask why the UFC hitched their wagon to a guy who isnt that skilled,but its still smart to make short term money. Its not their fault if he cant hold the bag.

It's still better that Paddy had a short run where people noticed him than to have not had any run at all. Ya gotta throw shit at a wall and see what sticks.

Fair enough, that's how most felt at first. Then he won people over by getting finishes and winning and advocating for causes and charities. Then it went to shit because he dumped on Ariel for 20 seconds and Ariel spent hours showing "rEceIptS" and totally not being triggered (he was triggered).

To those who watched him for years knew where his ceiling was. I think the the casual fanbase was exposed to that in his last fight and are know starting to understand the manufactured hype.

however in this day and age, all it takes is one fight against an overmatched opponent and some favorable promotion will put him back in the spotlight

He did not have a "negative opinion" about Ariel - He lied about him. As in Paddy was telling straight up lies trying to destroy Ariels reputation. Ariels fact and evidence based rebuttal showed what a greedy, shitty, lying, little child Paddy is. And that Paddy was doing this lying while talking with Dana just made it more disgusting.
