I feel Nick Diaz is massively overrated, he hasn't won a fight since 2011 against an undersized welterweight in BJ Penn.

I also think that Nate Diaz has WAY better boxing.

Look at Nick's opponents since 2011. Come back.

Less whining, more desire to fight.Nick has been out of it for a long time...But nick was legit champion material. He just happened to coexist with monsters at WW.

Nick has better boxing, a larger head, stronger body...better overall fighter.

In all fairness, since his fight vs BJ Penn he's fought Condit, the WW GOAT, and the GOAT. It's not like he's fighting scrubs.

Is Nate more talented? No, he's not. But is he more willing to identify weaknesses and adjust? Yeah, it seems so.

How should I know!?

Nick either retires or gets suspended every time I watch him

Nate is definitely more talented on the media / marketing side of things. I think he could possibly surpass his brother athletically, but he hasn't achieved more yet. His boxing seems to be more technically sound IMO though.

More talented? No, but I've thought for a while he has more potential. Being the younger brother, he seems a bit more humble and more open to real growth while Nick has actually regressed as a fighter over the years. Whether that's due to genuine arrogance or simply growing disinterest I can't say but IMO only one of them still has a crack at winning UFC gold.

Nick has wasted a lot of time on the sidelines. Hard to say.

With their physique taken into consideration, they are both amazing fighters.

I have no idea how they hang with monsters looking like that.

Also great chins great cardio and a pretty effective boxing style.

I'd give the edge to Nick cause of those Semtex and Anderson fights.

No, and Nick would beat him if they were to ever fight. He's bigger, stronger, hits harder, better inside fighter, better bjj. Stop using the stupid argument that he hasn't won since 2011, he has fought 3 times against killers since then. Dumbest argument I've ever seen on Sherdog that is constantly thrown around.

I think Nate has taken a bit longer to get in his groove. He's continually getting better while Nick I think peaked a bit earlier. Nate is more like a Verdum where his skills increase. I think Nick just was a bit more natural at it and up to his suspension was the better one.

Nick had great fights with Noons, Penn, Inoue, Shamrock, Gomi. His last few fights have been against really tough opponents though, so only time will tell. I see him getting suspended again though honestly. I'm a big fan of the Diaz brothers, but let's be honest here. His constant troubles started over 4 years ago and testing has gotten worse.

Nate has consistently gotten better. He picked up a win over Cerrone, Gomi, Miller, avenged Maynard loss in a BIG way. All his losses have been against good people (with maybe the exception of Thompson). And with LOTS of bonuses in there.

Time will tell for both. I think Nate will get in a position to get a LW title match again (not saying he will win it. I hope Alvarez holds it for YEARS). Nick though, I just don't know. I don't see him getting anywhere past some of the good welterweights right now.

Name me one current WW that can beat GSP and Anderson Silva.

They only test for weed ten days out I think. Or it could be only on fight night I'm not sure which. but they don't care if you smoke in camp.

Ive been saying it a while now. Nate is the better fighter. Hes got better boxing and better jiu jitsu. Nick isnt even really bigger anymore, so he doesnt even hold that over him either.
