The talent depth has increased along with much, much smarter training methods but the top guys from back in the day would still be right around the top of today's divisions.

This, and the size and athleticism has increased substantially with the deeper talent pools. 155 - 205 some of the guys from 15-20 years ago probably can’t compete in the same divisions.

The big guys are not evolving at all, arguably they've gotten worse.

The smaller guys are incorporating more skills to their game, but it's not like you didn't already have fighters like BJ Penn and Jose Aldo 10 years ago.
