I'd forgotten that Chiesa pieced him up for most of the first round on the feet. Just rewatched it. That's a damn good fight. Masvidal invested in the bodyshots and Chiesa wilted in round 2. Tapped to the D'arce with less than a second left in the round.

Ya I’m not knocking masvidal. He’s a bad match up for most grapplers. He had the tools to keep it standing and beat Maia but would get sloppy and end up with him on his back. He should’ve got the nod against raging Al, but it’s his own fault for taking his foot off the gas.
