Dana doesn't seem like the kind of person who respects knowledge and expertise.

Wait, did he actually get fired over that? I remember when it happened but I don't remember reading about him getting fired over it.

Quick google showed me Kenflo saying this:

TLDR: He said no to coaching on TUF and slowly started getting less work from the UFC and he thinks it's because he said no to coaching on TUF that he was phased out of working for the UFC.

“My understanding — and this is what’s been told to me from people inside the company — I guess I said no to being a coach... I was asked to coach on, I think, The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America, one of the early ones back in the day,” Florian told Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour. “I wasn’t able to do it. It was travel and all of that stuff, and I was doing UFC Tonight, I was doing commentary work, and I just had a lot of stuff going on at home, so I just wasn’t able to really do it.

It just didn’t make sense, and because I said no, I kind of slowly started being removed from stuff. That’s my understanding. That’s what’s been told to me — not directly, but by people within the company who are close to the source. But I guess that’s how it went down."

I doubt the UFC has any interest in him at this point on broadcast. Paramount wouldn't care but they'd defer to UFC on anything K Flo related.

Kflo got teh experience to commentate. Could possibly make a great addition to teh team, but he'd have to get his head back in teh game.

You gotta imagine learning every nuance about ever fighter you're tasked to commentate for... it's a fooking lot!!! ...if done right.

In 2016, I did teh UFC pickumz on every single event, & studied & watched tape on every single event from teh bottom to teh top. It's fooking exhausting.

Of coarse being paid big & I'd do it again... but I just shared my experience to say that I respect those commentatorz for being able to recognize every fighterz past & compare each fighter'z performance in a current matchoop. It's a lot of fooking work.
