Is Jon Jones a sociopath?

100% believe he is...I couldn't even make it through his appearance on Rogan's podcast.

Much more narcissistic on the personality scale [meaning that he's much lower on agreeableness] but I highly doubt that he has antisocial personality disorder or sociopathy.

Sociopaths/psychopaths don't crave as much as attention as he does or enjoy it.

There are other clues that suggest that he's not a sociopath/psychopath like his powerful emotionality.

He's just a shitty person.

Yes, he is a legit sociopath. I called this out years ago actually.

Sociopathy also doesn't feel shame. The whole projecting an image to be seen in a desired way(his entire career until Cormier) is incongruent with Sociopathy. It's Narcissism.

I think low T Jones is a nice guy. It's the Turinabol Jones who has sociopathic tendencies

Nah. Jones just got famous too fast, And stayed in a shitty camp that never made any rules or took care of him.

Jones certainly shows some of those qualities but he's still responsible enough to train hard and take care of his family and he def showed remorse (arguably he got caught by USADA not because he disregarded the rules and cheated but because he was careless and dumb)

Every x months somebody throw that sociopath Jones thing lol

He's an asshole with lot of moneys and the knowledge he can fuck up 99.9% peoples on earth

He just get bored by peoples shit

Thanks for the intellectual in depth analysis.

If he didn’t leave that pregnant lady and do a cash\drug grab, I might have disagreed with the op.

You're welcome, sad i can't copy-paste internet shit and be a couch criminal psychologist too

Also get even harder apply normal internet diagnosis (LOL) to somebody who does'nt have a normal life and instead got fame, success, moneys, a fuck-up-peoples-in-a-cage world title, appear in the media and use substances (be it coke, peds etc)

External factors play an huge role on why peoples that act as pieces of crap, and Jones got many of them

Notice i'm NOT defending Jones, if anything i'm putting more resposibility on his actions

Antisocial personality disorder, sometimes called sociopathy, is a mental condition in which a person consistently shows no regard for right and wrong and ignores the rights and feelings of others. People with antisocial personality disorder tend to antagonize, manipulate or treat others harshly or with callous indifference. They show no guilt or remorse for their behavior.

Individuals with antisocial personality disorder often violate the law, becoming criminals. They may lie, behave violently or impulsively, and have problems with drug and alcohol use. Because of these characteristics, people with this disorder typically can't fulfill responsibilities related to family, work or school.

Symptoms
Antisocial personality disorder signs and symptoms may include:

  • Disregard for right and wrong
  • Persistent lying or deceit to exploit others
  • Being callous, cynical and disrespectful of others
  • Using charm or wit to manipulate others for personal gain or personal pleasure
  • Arrogance, a sense of superiority and being extremely opinionated
  • Recurring problems with the law, including criminal behavior
  • Repeatedly violating the rights of others through intimidation and dishonesty
  • Impulsiveness or failure to plan ahead
  • Hostility, significant irritability, agitation, aggression or violence
  • Lack of empathy for others and lack of remorse about harming others
  • Unnecessary risk-taking or dangerous behavior with no regard for the safety of self or others
  • Poor or abusive relationships
  • Failure to consider the negative consequences of behavior or learn from them
  • Being consistently irresponsible and repeatedly failing to fulfill work or financial obligations
Been saying it for years.

he is inmature and a loose canon. Very talented at punching people in the face, though.

Those disorders are difficult to diagnose. I've known quite a few "DBAG"s in my life but I don't think they were sociopaths, they just were not generally good people. They say the boardroom is filled with psycho and sociopaths. The CEO's of major corporations and even politicians are the ones people need to look at because there is a high incidence of that sort of thing by the power brokers.

I think most CEOs and successful politicians are simply dominant personalities, not psycho / sociopaths who while superficially charming usually are largely unsuccessful in life. Criminals, chronically unemployed, lack discipline, they just manipulate to get what they want.

JBJ isn't a sociopath anymore than any other over-entitled athlete

Boredom is common in sociopaths

I don’t know if he’s a sociopath. Nobody on this thread knows.....

The ranks of high ranking government officials and corporate CEO's are filled with psychopaths. The percentage of psychopaths in prison and in the professional world is close to the same. They occupy both spaces and at a higher rate than is found in the general population.

An Australian study has found that about one in five corporate executives are psychopaths – roughly the same rate as among prisoners.

The study of 261 senior professionals in the United States found that 21 per cent had clinically significant levels of psychopathic traits. The rate of psychopathy in the general population is about one in a hundred.

“For psychopaths, it [corporate success] is a game and they don’t mind if they violate morals. It is about getting where they want in the company and having dominance over others.”

The global financial crisis in 2008 has prompted researchers to study workplace traits that may have allowed a corporate culture in which unethical behaviour was able to flourish.
