He lost me with the Ronda shit. The guy is a fucking drug burn out. He is trash now. He was mostly ok back in the day. Maybe because Goldie was such a buffoon.

He’s utterly atrocious now. And when he’s with DC it’s fucking unbearable. 217 was a fucking low point I’ve never experienced before. And it’s like that all the time now.

I liked Dan Hardy.
 
I liked him from his start (UFC 13?) as a commentator & interviewer, despite the regular criticism he gets. Though I see him make off statements sometimes, I feel he's mostly on point & I like his excitement & knowledge of teh game to this day.
 
In the ufc maybe but the bar isn't exactly high there. He does have his dumb moments though.
 
Love seeing/hearing him corrupt DC, they def trip together for PPVs.

Bas is maybe my favorite overall tho
 
No, Rogan is a shill that cried for Ronda and called her a once ever athlete who could beat Velasquez or some nonsense like that.

Not a great podcaster either, his podcasts are great when he’s got someone very intelligent on and he shuts his mouth and allows his guest to talk. When he’s got some comedian buddy on and he ends up doing most of the ranting he’s insufferable.

Also dude is like 4 feet tall, you can’t be GOAT anything if you’re that much of a manlet imo.
 
It's a four way tie between Jim Ross, Gordon Solie, Bobby Heenan, and Jerry Lawler. In all seriousness, MMA doesn't really have a GOAT imo. I liked Joe's enthusiam when I was growing up but the dude just doesn't seem to care anymore. I really liked Brian Stann myself but he wasn't around long enough.

Frank Mir is much better. Pat Miletich is much better. Ken Florian is as good. Joe has great knowledge, but he also says too much hyperbolic, idiotic shit.
 
Stephen Quadros was one of the best. You could tell he watched a lot of film on the fighters. He had a lot of moments breaking down the action where he accurately predicted what was about to happen. I thought him and Bas was a good combo of technical breakdowns and Bas being the hype guy.
 
joe rogan is below average. there are much better current commentators than him. i don't see how that is even a dispute. he thrives on being excited, and doesn't understand the sport as well as other commentators.

dominick cruz, paul felder, and even laura sanko is more well versed in explaining what is taking place during fights. rogan is living off his name and former reputation.

quadros and ranallo are probably the best to have ever done it.
 
He is one of the worst right now. In the UFC probably the worst. His lack of dedication to the job is painfully apparent.
