Is it worth being a jacked manlet?

It was everywhere even last decade on bodybuilding forums.
true, i never dwelled in the bodybuilding and their legendary misc prior to here.

id see it prevalent in youtube comments on training routines n shit like that but i never paid attention to it much.

Nice man. It's weird, I trained a really long time for martial arts and it just kept me light especially kbing. I lost a ton of muscle mass from all the road work and cardio. I don't think the bulky muscle ever returned either.

Probably just genetics. I always had broad shoulders even before I ever worked out. I'm sure nobody here would say I'm bulky if I post my pic, but I was still too bulky for boxing at my weight class. I don't know though, when I show people (chicks) pics of my weigh-ins, I've had people tell me I look way too muscular while some would say they would like it if I was bulkier.

I don't carry much upper body muscle naturally and it's even worse now that I've been cutting for a long time. The frame however isn't terrible; which is why I have hope. My arms are getting chick level thin. :(

I wouldn't worry about people's opinion especially for your weigh in photos. You only looked like that for a day or two pre-fight. Are we talking Rumina Sato level bulky upper body?

Bit of a fun thread.

I've been moonlighting as a fat guy for as long as I can remember but I'm back in the normal looking human being door. So I need to make a choice where my focus should lie; getting lean and as athletic as possible or chasing gains? Caveat being I'm a manlet of the worst type.

Being attractive to the womenz would be a nice bonus.

Imo, what attracts women is how you'll look with a shirt on cause that's how 99% will see you. Being jacked in clothes will cover some of your jackedness and just make u look super athletic.

the only people who mire muscled up dudes are other muscled up dudes. Be lean, athletic and defined and you'll do better with the ladies.

I'm not worrying about it, I'm showing them a preview of what's to come. Except it's false advertising because I haven't worked out in quite awhile now.
I guess I'm close to Sato's physique but he's a bit bulkier. I think I'm closer to Michael Katsidis. We're similar height and one weight class apart

On that basis being jacked may affect how you look in a bad way, as most clothes will fit ill. Especially for shorther guys with super wide chest/back. Clothes usually look best in lean /slim men and women.

Yeah, looking too wide can be a problem for shorter dudes.

Bro the answer is get as big as you can muscle wise without, getting fat. If you're not already a huge cunt, and you used to be fat, I think its likely the thing which limits your size is your effort level and nutrition. You'll achieve the best medium naturally

5'6" and a muscular 195 pounds. Not ripped by any means but workout and look good as far as I am told. I do pretty well with women. The biggest help is confidence and personality but that will only get you so far. You have to look good when the clothes come off too. I feel I do.

Talking as if getting jacked is easy. Unless you want to sacrifice your dick and ballsfor roids.

How is that going to get you bitches

Maybe you should be aiming for the Bruce Lee body type.

Dude was 5' 7'' if memory serves. He wasn’t bulky at all, but still ripped as hell.

Just get a big lifted truck, lots of guns, and a pit bull.

So that's where it started, mostly. Short guys can get bodybuilder physiques quicker and they can put up more weight except for deadlift. I don't know that much about bodybuilding, but it was usually seen as being a little bit unfair; b/c, if a shorter guy puts on 25-30 lbs, it is more noticeable than if a tall guy puts on the same amount. Most champ bodybuilders are short. Of course, there are exceptions like Lou Ferrigno. I heard that Arnold is really around 6 even and not 6'2.

This is pretty much me. I'm a little bigger and more defined.
