Is it worth being a jacked manlet?

You can stay in shape with diet and other sporting activities, like swimming and walking, tennis or soccer to name a few,and they're all far more gay than lifting.

What bullshit is 'stay in shape'?

My sports involve moving other men against their will and they all benefit from lifting.

The mental strength gained from commiting to a hard, relentless deferred gratification will serve you in all walks of life.

Being strong makes almost every part of life better.

Lifting is knowledge and power. Being strong is like you're a muscle car, being fit is like you're a prius.

be lean...

lean is a lot more attractive to women (in my experience)

how short are we talking here btw?

When you're short you can really represent that power to weight ratio. It can make you incredibly dynamic when it's go time.

Whoo cares what other ppl think. OP this isnt bodybuilding.com were members tend to look for validation and depend their happiness on making life decisions based on others opinions.

Just do what you love, be healthy and everything else will work its way

obviously you have a manlet inferiority complex. get a psychiatrist, not a gym membership.

I don't really approve of lifting. My life for a long time was wrestling, football and judo; I spent a lot of time moving other men against their wills, was really good at it, and I rarely lifted.

I would suggest that strong from lifting weights makes you a pro wrestler, while being supremely fit makes you a navy SEAL.

Just my opinion.

I'm going to include the fact that I was never "supremely fit", although I was in damned good shape.

Lifting is a good supplemental training method, provided you're doing useful lifts, not 'curls for the girls'. For example, I'm a big fan of dead-lifts and clean and jerks (with reasonable weights), and am of the opinion that doing those properly can improve, say, a wrestler's blast double explosiveness.

But yea, it's not essential and can be done without. Carlos Newton claimed he only did body weight exercises, like pull-ups and push-ups, and the guy was a specimen.

American football with a side salad of judo. Football is my prime focus atm though in the gym and week to week. Offensive tackle.

As a manlet dat physique I want is

uvs3_02_palhares_vs_branch_010.jpg

Gotta get my sit up game going though

In terms of looks sitting at 10 percent bodyfat will get you the most bang for your buck. Your facial features and jawline will be defined, your forearms vascular and your abs visible.
You'll want to try and retain as much mass as you can, though naturally this won't be easy.
