There's now a terror attack quite literally every other day in Germany - a knife-wielding Afghan was shot dead by police in Schönebeck today.

Russia is the least of its worries, unless you subscribe to the theory (I do) that it's Russia sending all the fake asylum seekers into Europe and sponsoring all the relentless propaganda to hoodwink politicians and populations to support it.

Why does it have to be one or the other?
I'm pretty sure different people would be working on those issues and they don't have to pick just one.
They should throw potential terrorists out of their country, improve their immigration policy and starting to build up defenses against Russia.

There is a very real and predictable consequence of Trump pulling the US away from allies while showing great affection for Putin and Russia.

That very real and predictable consequence is that nations in Russia's sphere will rightly realize that if they do not have nukes and Russia chooses to invade them, they may be abandoned and blamed for Russia attacking them, and told they must surrender to make peace.

We all see that Magats will instantly say 'but Russia has nukes... you risk WW3, so those other countries must surrender', and it is ONLY if those others countries have nukes as well that they will be safe.

If one gets launched, they all launch. The USA, or any country, can’t determine beyond a shadow of a doubt where they’d be headed. One launch all launch.

but what we also know, is that people like you and Trump believe, if one country has nukes and the other does not, the one without nukes must surrender to the one with nukes, to "Avoid ww3 and nuclear war'.

You have pushed a view that the one without nukes defending themselves is what puts the world at risk.
