Wow, you're very deliberately backtracking from your original statement (that liberals claim all of the GOP filibusters in the Senate have been against Obama because of his race) now. You're deflecting from, at first, making a very specific but wide reaching statement regarding what ALL liberals think to then backtracking and dredging up instances of some liberals who think that race has played a factor (but not the exclusive factor) in the obstruction of Barack Obama. Your sleight of hand has been uncovered.

I doubt IFD truly meant "all". He was more than likely being flippant with that statement. Trying to box him in one that is a bit weak imo. He obviously means many...not 100% of all liberals.

Can you accept that maybe we haven't watched every minute of Rachel Maddow? Truthfully, I catch her show occasionally but I actually don't like her that much.

And it doesn't matter anyway, let's stop losing sight of what you guys are saying. You made the claim or at least agree with the claim that by playing the race card, voters where made to feel guilty to vote for Obama and that had an effect on the election. It's an utterly ridiculous assertion. Now, you can point out there are people with extreme left positions. OK, that hasn't effected the election!

And let's assume RM is some extreme left winger who magically controls viewers minds. IT STILL WOULDN'T EFFECT THE ELECTION! Who the hell do you think watches MSNBC?

This is about the 6th time he's mentioned it, or liberalism's fascist roots in the last day. I'm betting it's that time of year again, and Tropodan read a book. It just so happened to be Liberal Fascism by Jonah Golberg.

I've had the book for years and never read the whole thing. There are some good areas in it though. I'm not conservative enough to drool over it as a whole though.

You guys really got scared there. You think by making ad hominem attacks you can discredit him? His theory is very sound.

Sorry, there have been just as many instances of conservatives (like Stephen Schwarzman and Tom Perkins to name two) of comparing center-left economic policy and proposals to Hitler. It goes both ways and it's extremely idiotic in all instances.

I'm not spamming, I haven't only recently read the book, and you need to make yourself aware of the ad hominem fallacy.

His theory isn't sound whatsoever and his book was widely panned by reviewers of the book as well.
 
I'm going to laugh when this all starts again with Hillary. It will be the exact same platform lol.

It will start slow and get more agressive with accusations of sexism and misogyny if you don't support her.

The media will ask questions like "Is it sexist to not support Hillary" over and over.

To say that saying race plays a role in an issue (objection to a policy, for example), is materially equivalent to ''you are like Hitler if you disagree with me,'' is just the dumbest thing I can think of.

Surely you don't think that, do you?
