The Bravo's one is the only fight Punk could win... Three days after the result'll be overturned due the highly suspect minimal amount of blood in Bravo's thc.
 
This is a sad story for the UFC really. I'm all for people trying to tick things off their bucket list, but using the UFC makes the company look like a joke. If he wanted to compete in MMA that badly, go sign up for a fight or two in some local circuit, do all the training, and be satisfied you tested yourself. Coming into the biggest MMA organisation for a fight? Yeah, it destroys a lot of the work the UFC has done to try and turn itself into a legitimate sport. It's different if you pull in pro fighters from other disciplines (boxing, kickboxing, wrestling) for a one-off 'super' fight to see how MMA stacks up against them- but this is something very different.

After watching Gall fight, I'm convinced one of two things is going to happen- Punk is going to bail before the fight ever happens with a serious injury, or they'll use Punk to push Gall as a big name. Expect to see Punk take a very soft defeat if they do fight, he's going to fold quickly.

This is probably the stupidest example you could use. Brock came in as an accomplished NCAA Champion. Not to mention the guy was probably the most athletic heavyweight to ever step into the octagon.

Latest rumor on Sherdog's front page is Punk is out again and needs back surgery. I don't think he'll ever fight.

There are many "Real" MMA fighters that are only at a blue belt level or less. Mostly because, they maybe don't train in the gi. I believe CM Punk has trained gi and no-gi casually for quite a few years.

The fact that that is his biggest credential is a fucking joke. I'm a God damned blue belt. Not shitting on blue belts it's a legit rank and all, but he's going to get ran the hell over. Anyone thinking about fighting professionally should probably at least have their purple belt before they debut as a pro (or be at that level, I understand a lot of them don't train in gi's and never get belts)

The poster I replied to said that Gall has a brown belt in BJJ and Punk has a white belt, and that's all you need to know. Well, that's obviously not true. Belts don't mean shit.

Well no non combat sport 0-0 fighter can get any UFC contract, not even a Bellator contract.
3-0 fighters are standing in line to get into the UFC they are patiently waiting....

This is exactly what I've been saying.
Where are they going to find a pro fighter with no fights?

Regionals are filled with hungry fighters that would love to KO some celebrity and then scream in front of the camera for a title shot. Well hey, they knocked out an undefeated "champ" right?

Putting money on Punk if the fight actually happens, will post slip. Easy money, you guys bought into the Gall hype, he is there to get beat so Joe Rogan can scream CM PUNK IS FOR REAL!!

If CM Punk beat Gall's opponent Sherdog would be shitting on him for beating up a MMA journalist who doesn't even consider himself a fighter, but somehow this has legitimized Gall.
 
CM Punk is gonna smash him

iirc, he was feuding with Brock Lesnar back in the WWE and fought on par with him, Mickey Gall is nothing compared to Lesnar

There shouldnt be 0-0 fighters in the UFC.
 
I like punk he's a cool dude, but I'm betting heavily on the other guy
