Crime Is Flynn Cohen to Prison? (SCO Thread v. 26)

Well, he certainly wasn’t my first choice.

But back in reality, it was a choice between Trump and Hilldog. Fwiw, I absolutely would not have voted for jeb. If I had my choice, I’d likely have picked Carly. I’d also gladly spend the night in jail for punching Rick Santorum.

Today?

Trumps actions on China alone have secured my 20 vote.
Fair enough

No one says this is it except for you guys and no hopes have been crushed when your only expectation is that the truth will be uncovered which so far is happening.

Are you denying that many posters here stated that Trump would be removed from office by now?

Would resign?

That Kushner “was next”?

Or a whole mountain of embarrassing predictions that have proven wrong?

How about because politics is an ugly sport flooded with money and corruption?

Let’s take the Trump tower meeting. Why lie about it? Because opposition research is a bad look, but it’s the reality of politics. It’s the same reason the Hillary camp denied being involved with the Steele dossier.

Ugly, yes.

Completely legal, absolutely.
except its not completely legal. Campaigns cannot even share internal polling data with their own Super Pacs or its a Campaign Finance breach and against the law. sharing with a foreign entity, considered an enemy (as Russia is) is even worse.

Jeff Sessions answered the accusation quite thoroughly during his second appearance before Congress.

And I don’t even like Jeff Sessions.
He told a direct lie and the facts -that we never would have known if it hadn't been for the "fake news"- contradicted him.

He fucking lied. Scurrilously.

Kushner could be next, to claim he isn’t when the investigation is on going is a little premature don’t you think?

Speculation is just that, speculative. Everyone does it from the President to UFC cards to who will be #1 on Dj Mag. I’d try not to get confused by it.

Lol @ rigging online polls being headed by a piece of garbage from the scum filled evangelical Liberty Univeristy.

A head member of the university helping rig online polls with a bag of money.

How Jesus like. There isn’t one thing Christian about Evangelicals. They’re Satan’s spawn if you believe in that nonsense

Taking just the multiple associations with various Russians that were vociferously denied, and which later turned out to be accurate reporting... what alternative explanation can you offer for why they all lied about it all?

Nobody wants to take a stab at this?
Occam's razor and all that.
If there's a better explanation for all these lies, I would like to hear it.

So are we just switching topics now because you’ve lost the argument?

I have no idea what the extent of PM wrongdoing is. Meuller can sentence him to a lifetime, I really don’t care.

In fact,

Good, fuck’em.

He was asked a question, a long rambling question accusing him of treason, while the story was just breaking. It doesn’t shock me two insignificant conversations didn’t come to mind when being asked if he committed treason.

His second testimony explained it perfectly well.

Reading comprehension brah, do even u?

Find a single post by me saying Russians didn’t shitpost online. Oh, you can’t? I’m shocked.

The far more concerning issues is that they hacked into several state databases. But again, that’s your everyday cyber espionage. Not exactly breaking news for folks who are informed.
It's not my reading comprehension brah. Its your ability to communicate effectively.

You said this "Russia had literally zero effect on the election."

and I posted later how every Govt security agency and both Houses and even the White House now does not deny that they did.

Listen, when it’s all over, you’ll realize you should have just listened to me.

It’s all good though. I’m only gonna rub it in a little.

PS, it’s not like I’m going out on a limb here. It’s just the left refuses to acknowledge articles like this.

Don’t get your hopes up kids.

Hey @HereticBD, this is why nobody takes your accusations of circlejerking seriously.

A bunch of people calling you stupid because you refuse to acknowledge evidence based arguments isn't a circlejerk. It's just you being stupid. HTH

Show me where they address the effect.

Oh, they didn’t...

Don’t get your hopes up kids.

It will only be anti-climatic because Giuliani will have already leaked or dropped most of the accusations before it’s public.

The pettiness of the President never ceases to amaze me. According to Trumps former lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen, at the behest of Donald Trump he issued a payment between 12K and 13K to a small technology company to rig online polls in Trumps favor.

They also created a twitter account called, @WomenforCohen which praised the looks of Michael Cohen. The twitter account called Cohen a "pitbull" and a sex symbol. You can find the account here
https://twitter.com/WomenForCohen

The online poll rigging was not successful and to nobodies surprise the owner of the tech company said he was never fully paid for the work.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/01/17/politics/michael-cohen-poll-rigging/index.html

My opinion is that I don't believe any of this stuff and Donald Trump is a very honest man and always pays his bills so this story must be fake. Plus it's from CNN which means it must be fake news

Conducting an influence campaign is not the same as having an actual impact.

I never claimed they didn’t try.

Yes it is unless you are an idiot and assume the Russians, Super Pacs, Billionaire donors and supporters, and the Campaigns themselves are all as dumb as you are.

We know for fact that Social Media, Polls, Targetting campaigns, and all the things the Russians were doing impact peoples decision making and behavior in elections. That is why they are done.

So if your argument is that the Russians are the only ones who got zero results then you need to make that case.

Your argument seems to be along the lines of 'you cannot prove for certain that TV commercials have ever impacted a persons decision to buy anything' simply because there are often many factors INCLUDING the commercials that ultimately lead to the decision. But claiming tv commercials have 'no influence' is just nonsense and the one saying it is just ignorant and stupid to how things work.

By that standard, every political spam email, and every mail in flyer for anything political is "conducting an influence campaign".

The definitions some are trying to use are overly broad and vague for a reason.
<TrumpWrong1>

Not every. But yes to every large and significant one having impact on targeted voters particularly in vulnerable swing districts.

You guys have to be under the assumption that both Russia and the Trump campaigns are as stupid on this topic as you guys are being in doing something they knew would have zero impact to just do it. that they purposely were just wasting time.

NO. You know better and are desperate to cling to any rationalization no matter how stupid.

@bobgeese why would Russia continue the same disinformation/interfer nice if it wasn’t successful the first time?

... It was just bad memory then and confusing questions?
