Is Fedor vs DC a 50/50 match?

Depends of time and place. Pride Fedor 2000-2006 vs SF DC in a ring under pride rules? Fedor would be too fast and the lack of a cage would frustrate DC. Fedor wins.

Had Fedor met DC instead of Bret Rogers in sf, it would have been a bad night for Fedor. He had 30+ fights and never got used to the cage.

Once Fedor was flat on his back and lost guard he wasn't that great at getting out from the bottom (he was rarely in bad positions). Arona , Hunt abd Bigfoot all had success once they flattened him out and maintained control.
 
Probably an unpopular opinion, but I would put DC with Fedor in the top 5 best HW's of all time.

It would be a hell of a match for sure, if they fought in the Strikeforce tournament, I'm confident DC mauls him.

mid 2000's Fedor would be very close, I don't think DC falls into a sub and I think DC controls a lot of the fight. I'd be looking at the stand up if you're a Fedor fan.

Prime v Prime?

I could see Fedor getting a KO standing or win via GnP.

Likely he drops DC with a lightning overhand and finishes with GnP

DC was fast but Fedor was faster and hit harder. DC has a solid chance of winning 3/5 rounds by getting a takedown and staying on top but I don't see him putting fedor in danger anywhere
 
Fedor's takedown defense is overrated, prime DC that was tossing barnett would do what bigfoot did to Fedor
 
Dc would ragdoll him and it wouldn't be competitive. It would be like Dc vs Barnett or maybe Dc knocks him out standing early. Maybe if Fedor was able to get past Hendo or Bigfoot I'd think differently but he was finished in both those matches.

If Kevin ragdolls him what would DC do. Not saying Kevin wasnt great but he is not DC.
 
I don't know why people think Fedor could handle wrestlers. He did it by armbaring them from bottom. If you think DC is getting caught in an armbar sure.
 
Both in their primes... tough fight to call. Debated this one myself. Would have loved to see it. Not sure if I'm a sick fuck, but I'd definitely watch them fight today in their current forms.
 
The problem is Fedor would find a way to beat him. He has survived tougher and stronger fighters than DC.

DC was a shitty striker at that point of his career, who became a great dirty boxer.

Fedor was a great striker, had great hips and was invincible.

Fedor would win, but Prime DC vs Prime Fedor would be a close fight
