Is Eddie Alvarez suspect to leg kicks?

Yes his technique was God awful he kept kicking with his foot, the reason why his chop kicks lacked power was that he had no torque coming from his hip he wasn't turning his hip into the kick. He never fully committed to his kicks whether it was out of fear that it being grabbed but he delivered a kick and almost looked to me he was ready to retreat instead of follow up.
Because he was ready to retreat after throwing them. The leg kicks derved a purpose that wasnt about injuring Nates leg. It was his longest range weapon, he used it to avoid boxing range so he could force Nate to respond with his hands and then counter from a safe distance. You're right about not commiting or putting everything into the kicks, but considering their purpose it was alright

He doesn't turn his hip over well when he throws high kicks either. Posters got angry with me for critiquing his kicking technique before he ever had big fights, but if you have any background in throwing kicks it's very evident.

I hear you Sarg, I take Conor fan heat when I refer to him as a mirror kicker a guy who loves to practice his kicks in the mirror, never really concerning themselves about getting the most effectiveness out of his kicks. But more concerned with how they look visually Edson Barboza is one the best technical kickers in the UFC and does some of the same kicks Conor tries to perform in fight the major difference I feel Edson kicks with true intention, Conor seems to throw his kicks for distraction to set-up his punches.

At least from my view....

please rewatch eddie fight, you're visualizing some legendary wrestler in your head but it isn't eddie!!!!
But you seem to think Dilon Danis is a good wrestler... I am watching his matches as we speak and he looks very lost when wrestling. Snap down, snap down, pushes away... this is as far as Danis' wrestling goes...
