Is Eddie Alvarez suspect to leg kicks?

He may kick him but push kicks and spinning shit mostly. He wont leg kick him

I had the same thought when he was going into a rematch with Diaz but he surprised the fuck out of us and started slamming those muay thai kicks in.

Unsurprisingly he broke his leg because his shin bones are underdeveloped and Nate proved that he can't even defend leg kicks when they're coming from a karate-boxing counter striker who doesn't even set them up with combinations.

You dorks are so damn sensitive. He won the fight, but his lack of wrestling ability was on full display. Doesn't mean he is a bad fighter.
are you talking about the mendes fight? mendes has mediocre wrestling???? one of the best wrestlers in mma...

Every weapon Conor has, Eddie is gonna turn to his advantage;

Conor throws a kick - Eddie catches it, takes him down.

Conor throws them dangerous left hands - Eddie level changes, takes him down.

He'll weather any storms, wear him out - grind him out. Dont rule out him finishing Conor.

I wasnt, i figured he would spam leg kicks. However i also figured Nate still wouldn't do anything to prevent them god forbid he gameplanned for an opponent

Mendes took that fight on short notice and I believe he could have done a better job had he had more preparation.

You joking right? Like Conor is gonna keep trying RDA chop kicks after he near kicked his leg off with his God awful technique. I can see Eddie grabbing a leg landing Conor flat on his back, or coming over the top with leg in hand with a right overhand.
his technique isnt awful, just not that powerful. The problem is that he hasn't been doing muay thai for a lifetime so his brittle legs can't take it. Guys like RDA and Aldo have kicked so much their nerves around the shin are dead.

Conor did a decent job with the leg kicks in the last fight because he prepared specifically to use them against Nate. Let's not act like Conor is all of sudden as proficient as Barboza with them. That was really the first time he had ever used them in a fight that I can recall. Good tool to have in his arsenal, but not sure it will be nearly as effective against Eddie.

There's an APB out for Eddie in the case of the leg kicker.

conor threw kicks vs a guy that was extremely tough to finish, even if you light him up. it was strategic. conor isnt going to throw kicks vs a wrestler that will get finished if his chin gets tested the way nates did. the key difference between nate and all the rest of conors ufc opponents is that when he got cracked, he didnt go away. i think eddie would be done like the rest of them. conors gameplan will be to find that chin, not to win rounds

Doubt conor throws many kicks. He will conserve his energy for eddie spamming takedown attempts and use his hands and hopefully elbows to attempt to inflict damage

Yes his technique was God awful he kept kicking with his foot, the reason why his chop kicks lacked power was that he had no torque coming from his hip he wasn't turning his hip into the kick. He never fully committed to his kicks whether it was out of fear that it being grabbed but he delivered a kick and almost looked to me he was ready to retreat instead of follow up.

Eddie's pretty suspect to getting KO'd stiff by dat left hand shot
