Is DJ the most real, kind, and just down-to-earth champion in MMA history?

Because I've never talked to a UFC champ who was so friendly, respectful, and appreciative of the fans. Dude literally has time for everyone and doesn't act better than anyone despite being the #1 P4P fighter on the planet. What a great guy.

At 5Ft 2" he is the "most down to earth" champ

Probably.

Literally the only other MMA Champ I've ever met who took the time to actually talk to me was Miguel Torres.

I mean I'm sure there are a lot of others who would have taken the time to thank me if I ever met them and told them how much I respected them, but having talked to mighty mouse I can't imagine someone at the top of the sport being more giving with their time and more appreciative of the fans. It's way more than I could do.

I always like listening to his interviews. He is extremely straight forward and doesn't worry about trying to please anyone but still keeps it classy.

He has time for BOTH of his fans!?

Well he is the most "down to earth" (Shortest) champ. Hell the SW female champ is taller.

He seems very aware, unselfish, polite, speaks well and whatever insecurities or problems he has, he isn't projecting them or letting them become a repeating underlining theme of his interviews. He doesn't seem to have baggage.

Just from what I can see, MM is very likely one of the coolest guys in MMA.

He should move up to bantamweight after he finishes Cejudo.

Johnson vs Cruz, anyone?

It used to be Aldo and Georges. But you guys all caused Aldo to change. So did the UFC. Horrible people.
