So DC wins the heavyweight title, and instead of fefending against Blaydes, or Volkov, or rematching Stipe, he wants to fight a 40 year old who hasn't won a fight in 8 years, and who was literally humiliated and exposed in his last two fights where he wasn't roided to the gills.

That by itself I can understand. Brock, even though he's not a serious mixed martial artist, is a huge draw for the drooling idiot masses, and means a big payday for DC. But, as if that weren't enough, he then announces that he will defend his light heavyweight belt before fighting Brock. And who does he want to defend against? Gus, who is the number one contender, has beaten virtually everyone who is not Jones, or DC and who had very close competitive fights with those two as well, and actually won them in some people's eyes? No, Not Gus. Jones who wrecked him twice, and who is considered by many to be the goat? No not him either. He wants to fight Shogun, an aging, way past his prime fighter, with blown out knees.

It's honestly starting to seem that all DC is looking for is a couple of gimme fights before he retires. And doesn't mind if he screws over guys like blaydes, Gus and volkov.

if he fights at lhw, people will say he's ducking hw

if he fights at hw, people will say he's ducking lhw

yes bork lesnar fight is a joke.

Guys hasn't faught in years and last time tested posittive for roiders guys during camp, during fight too!

DC is hand picking opponents one year down the line.

UFC fighters before getting a belt:

I'LL BE MOST ACTIVE CHAMPION EVER, FIGHT EVERYONE, 3X A YEAR

UFC fighters after getting a belt:

Well, acccctually, I'd really only like to fight inactive fighters who are good match ups for me...

He literally spelled this out before fighting for the title. DC said he wanted Lesnar.

Hes always been scared of cain biggest duck in ufc

There is no clear no. 1 contender at HW, so he can have stupid fights if he wants. He is on the final two fights of his career now.

Bunch of clucking hens these days.

He's riding off into the sunset with big pay days and two belts, after a career of putting it down on MMA's best.

He did a great thing, he's earned an easy payday as his swansong.

if dc had 1 more fight left in him why fight blaydes and get 500k buys or fight lesner and get 2 million.

so it easier then dc wins it easier to setup the fights to crown new lhw and hw champs.

Dude will make a million or two fighting Brock... Is Normal. But.. hopefully this Shogun at 205 thing plays out.

DC has had so much bad shit happen to him along the way, I think he deserves a couple easy pay days and I think Uncle Dana is gonna give em to him.

Shogun shouldn't even be a part of the conversation @lhw no disrespect but he's earning of his name and past history now..

Wouldn't it be great to see shogun ktfo him though,i know its a far cry but any old timer mma fan would love to see this

it's not that. it's that he wants to fight SHOGUN RUA at LHW or BROCK LESNAR at HW.

i don't know if you watch MMA, but Shogun Rua has been a shell of himself for some years now and Brock Lesnar can't win a fight without eating all the steroids in Mexico.

Yep. If he defends the 205 belt, he's ducking heavyweight. If he defends heavy, he's ducking 205.

Nah. He's not ducking anyone. There isn't a clear number one contender at 205 or HW. That's the perfect time for a bullshit, pointless money fight.
