Cyborg says she can't make 135 and doesn't care about the 135 belt. She says she wants superfights at 140 for the fans (and the money) and to find out who the best in the world is. It doesn't have anything to do with the 135 weight class, it has to do with which UFC fighter has the balls to take her challenge. So far it's just Leslie. No balls jokes please.
In what world does it take balls to call out smaller fighters? If Cyborg were the same size as those she was calling out she could make 135 as easily as they do, and if 5 pounds isn't a big deal, then Cyborg could simply lose those pounds.
Balls is going up in weight, shouldn't Cyborg be calling out heavier women? Obviously the reason she's going after the 135 pounders is money, but while that is good business sense, it has nothing to do with balls.
Similarly, the smaller fighters going or not going up in weight is about money as well. Pro-sport is about money. Cyborg wants to fight smaller women because that's where the money is. A lot of those smaller women don't want to go up in weight to fight her because it could cost them money, (Holms for instance would make much more fighting Rousey or Tate right now than Cyborg). Its got nothing to do with anything but money for Cyborg, Rousey, Tate, or Holly. The 135 pounders willing to go up to fight Cyborg are the ones who will make more money fighting Cyborg than fighting anyone else (ie they're not getting a fight with Rousey, Tate or Holly). Welcome to pro-sport, where fans talk about legacy and balls, but fighters look for money.
(And note I didn't use any balls jokes).
