On the one hand Nunes is the most "scary" female fighter for approximately one round. She absolutely raped McMann and dominated the opening 4 minutes against Zingano. In that time frame her fights aren't even competitive she just runs through her opponents.
Then on the other hand after that he's hardly able to stand up straight.
Really like Vitor for some time, even more extreme.
I think Amanda will try to start slow because her coaches will tell her that over and over again but at the end of the day it won't help. She won't have her initial dominant phase but gas either way. So all in all, I expect a rather easy win for Tate even though Nunes would kill her with better cardio.

I am a severe newbie to WMMA in the UFC. (Actually I haven't followed WMMA since Gina retired until Miesha got the shot against Holm).

With that said, I hope that you are wrong. I know it is utterly retarded to gauge a female fighter based on their sexual appeal, but I must confess to being that shallow where it comes to WMMA.

It would SUCK to see the girl that looks like an eerily 135 pound version of Gabi Garcia taking out a relative hottie like Miesha.

Something simply does not sit well with me when a female with a herculean build hitting a nice looking curvy gal that I could envision hitting in a different way!

Amanda is a big girl but she is hardly Gabe Garcia like or herculean. The size difference between Tate vs Nunes is about the same as Holly vs Ronda.

I'm half expecting this fight to be a WMMA replay of the Weidman v Belfort fight. Nunes to come out hyper aggressive, putting Tate in serious trouble and looking close to a finish, only for Tate to weather storm and then sub Nunes, after she punches herself out and gasses.

That said, I'm still very close to picking Nunes. Most violent fighter in WMMA? She's definitely a headhunter.

The "new" Tate - stronger, more unpredictable, less emotional, more patient - that we saw in the Holm fight will submit Nunes in rounds 3 or 4. She was great at frustrating a first rate striker and not giving Holm a target (Tate's face wasn't even a little bit red at the end of the fight) and if Holm couldn't figure out how to tee off on her there is no way Nunes will. She will wait things out for a couple of rounds and then step up the pace in round 3 leading to a takedown which will wear Nunes out.

I can see this fight unfolding like Nunes/Davies or Nunes/D'Alelio, maybe Nunes/Zingano if Miesha starts off really bad. I just don't see anyone other than Cyborg having the ability to beat down Miesha.

Nunes is a better striker and probably a better BJJ practitioner, Tate will likely get the takedown in round 1 and pray on her so she gasses at the start of round 2.
