Is anyone picking Nunes to beat Tate?

Even if Nunes won, she wouldn't hold the belt for long unless she gets her cardio in gear. She gasses out pretty fast.

I will never bet against Tate. I thought she was going to lose against McMann and Holly. She showed way better strategy in those flights and especially her striking overall has been better (more straight punches, more lateral movement, feints), and her ground game is some of the best in the division. Nunez has the power to stop it in the first round, but Tate knows that and will not stand like an idiot in front of her.

Expecting Nunes to get a good enough lead to win on points or score an early TKO. I don't think she'll be winning the later rounds.

The one weakness I've seen from Nunes is TDD, which is a big problem against Tate, but she's also dangerous everywhere, so I see Tate's chances to win being limited. Cardio and takedowns, but if the TD isn't there consistently and she can't keep Nunes down, Nunes will do well methinks.

Well she won a round in her last fight. Also, good thing for her the pace is slower in 5-rounders. The tough part are the later rounds, if she can't finish.

I think Nunes stops Meisha in 3. Meisha is tough but Nunes hits hard for WMMA both in stand up and GnP. Her top game is no joke either. love me some Meisha but I got Amanda in this one. Interested in a Nunes/Rousey fight but wouldn't hate to be wrong in my prediction.

I am a severe newbie to WMMA in the UFC. (Actually I haven't followed WMMA since Gina retired until Miesha got the shot against Holm).

With that said, I hope that you are wrong. I know it is utterly retarded to gauge a female fighter based on their sexual appeal, but I must confess to being that shallow where it comes to WMMA.

It would SUCK to see the girl that looks like an eerily 135 pound version of Gabi Garcia taking out a relative hottie like Miesha.

Something simply does not sit well with me when a female with a herculean build hitting a nice looking curvy gal that I could envision hitting in a different way!

You remember how Holm had a clear part of her game that Tate could plan for and execute? Good. Nunes has a clear part of her game that Tate can plan against and execute in Delicious fashion.Questionable Carido against the sweetset fighter is asking to get baked.

Nunes is far more skillful than Tate but she doesn't have the cardio to be a championship fighter, in a 3 round fight I might pick her but there's no way she beats Tate in a 5 round fight.
