Khamzat is good but he got a wake up call when he realized he couldn't walk through Burns like he did with the other bums he faced before. He has that "dagestani hype" that Khabib had, and now everybody sees it on every guy from that region (I know he is Chechen, but it's the same thing, you guys don't care lol). If he was american/brazilian, nobody would give a fuck about this dude.

It's not that hard to get booked for a UFC fight -- plenty of unremarkable fighters are doing it and watering down the Cards.

I blame Khamzat for bitching on Social Media and not showing up on Fight Cards. So, I'm not excited about any mention of Khamzat until he makes weight and gets back in the cage for his run to a Championship.

I'm for sure excited for Khamzat, but I feel it's a bit early to tell if he'll be able to run through the division. Using his style over the course of 3 and 5 round fights may leave him gassed and exhausted (or not) -- I'd like to see how he does against some higher level competition with solid defensive wrestling. I do feel that the potential of him breaking records is there given that he is still young and has taken minimal damage (outside the Burns fight) -- time will tell. I'll be juiced to watch though in any case.
