I read so many posts from people complaining about this fight being scratched... Honestly, I wouldn't have cared about that fight as much as The preceeding half dozen on the card. I get Conor built a HUGE fanclub and has a cult like following. Hell, I'm not a fan at all and I still liked watching him fight.
BUT, why do I want to see a rematch of a "maybe" top 5 LW fight the FW champ at welterweight, when the first go-round was such an obvious blowout? I just don't see that fight playing out much different(if any) in a rematch... I'd pick Nate by sub 10/10... And lets not forget that the fight means nothing to any of the divisions, or other fighters in the divisions, except for Conor... just because he wants the "L" patched up. And who can blame him? But regardless, why let him as the FW champ erase his WW loss? he hasn't defended his own belt yet and there are WAY more interesting fights to make with him at LW, and WAY more deserving contenders for the belt he currently holds.
There, off my soap box.
