Movies Is Alien: Romulus worth watching?

I think it was better than the AvP movies and Prometheus or Alien Covenant. I’d have it tied with Alien Resurrection for fourth best alien movie.

I did not enjoy it at all. I put it down there with Alien 3 and AvP requiem in worst tier.
And for reference, while I consider 1 and 2 the greatest, I still enjoyed aspects of resurrection, prometheus and covenant and AVP
I rolled my eyes a lot.
I would kill for a colonial marines movie lol
Oh, and Romulus managed to take the WORST part of Alien Resurrection and remake it into their movie LOL
Whose damn idea was it to have the natural birth HumanAlien again?????

I guess another way to ask this is, did you like Star wars"the force awakens"?
Hard to get attached to new characters?Seems like they just carbon copied some things from the original?
Now imagine instead of Chewy and han Solo making a return, you get a cameo of grand moff tarkin
but it has lightsabers and Blasters i guess
One of my biggest pet Peeves has always been the speed in which a facehugger comes off before the Alien suddenly grows and rips out.
Its seems like every movie since Alien 3 hyperspeeds the process and it annoys me.
In Alien, the facehugger came off and he stayed unconscious for awhile. They left orbit and flew off. The feeling the movie gave was that several hours had passed before he finally woke up, chatted with them for a bit and then talked about how hungry he was. The feeling was also that they stopped to cook up a hot meal and they just skipped to the eating scene where the Alien emerged.
Aliens didn't really give any indication of the gestation period, but it didn't seem instant
Alien 3 made it take WAAAAAAY longer than previous. that was explained away with it being a Queen needing longer gestation, and the Doctor pumping Ripley full of drugs, retarding the process. Still, it took an absurdly long time.
Alien Resurrection was a mixed bag.most of them hatched very fast. Yet one dude stayed Preggo with the thing the entire movie even though he was facehugged at the same time as his mates.
Starting with AVP, it was nearly instant. Girl wakes up, Chest explodes. AVP2? kid wakesup, Chest explodes. Promethieus, Engineer gets facehugged, body explodes. Covenant, dude wakesup fromfacehugger,Chest explodes.
