Is a 6'0 foot tall, 200 pound man a big guy by todays standards?

Well considering the average American is a 5'10'' 190lbs. fatass. Yes an in shape 6'0'' 200lbs. man is slightly big

For a serious reply, a 6' 200 lb guy is nothing special to see on the street but 6' 200 lbs IN SHAPE is above average hence why MW is shallower than WW and LW.

Lets say a guy like Michael Bisping, or Jacare, are they big men?
Taking pro athletes out of the equation, I'd say a 6' tall 200 lbs guy at the office or grocery store would be considered a fairly big guy. Now, of course, there are a lot of fat dudes in the USA. Fat does not mean strong, it just means fat. A guy that is 6' tall and weights 260 lbs of doughnut oil and bacon grease might consider himself big and other people might think he's big as well, but had he not been guzzling 7-11 Big Gulps every day since he was 12 yrs old, he might, in fact, weigh in around 200 lbs.

6'0 200lb with 10% body fat is pretty damn big. I don't know many people that height who lift regularly that weigh 200 lbs. I don't know how UFC fighters get that heavy, tbh. How does a 5'8 guy with 8% body fat weigh 175? While training so much cardio? Go figure.

If i put on Conor's 3" lifts I'd be 6'4". Problem is I don't take a size 6 in ladies.

6' 200 is above average round here, Las Vegas. We have a lot of Latinos which scale it down. I'd say for Latinos and Asian males thats above avg. For White and black males it's average.

6'0 200lbs sounds mid sized to me. Kinda between mid sized and large or just upper end of mid sized.

As far as UFC in concerned anything below HW is a manlet to me. To cut weight to fight smaller guys. Afraid of HWs. Royce was not a manlet. Everyone WW and up are HWs in camp kill themselves to lose 40-50 lbs to fight manlets so they are manlets too.

manlet.

I actually get annoyed that they're considered the same species as me, and not some kind of Pygmy sub species.

Meh, I'm 5'10 ,190 and out push and out cardio many of the guys bigger then me in the gym. some of the bigger guys look like clumsy retards working out....no balance, no composure or technique, strictly relying on their size to do everything.

Height is irrelevant, that's why you don't have height classes but weight classes.

When it comes to fighting, someone who fights at 200 or above is a big man period. Obviously due to weight cutting a lot of guys who could easily walk around at 200 or over and be in shape don't fight that high and are at 185. Even some 170 guys would easily be around 200 and still be in great shape. So MMA middleweights are definitely big guys too.

It's ridiculous that people who don't do combat sports competitively think they're bigger than say UFC MWs because they're around 200 lbs. Everyone can bulk up to that weight or just has extra body fat but if you had to do the amount of cardio the fighters do and diet correctly and go through their training regime most of these regular kinda in shape 200 lbs guys would fight at 170 or even lower.

Take for example someone like Bernard Hopkins who is 6 foot 1 and is a big man even though he used to fight at 160 and then later at 175 lbs. That's because he was living extremely disciplined life and had no extra fat or non-functional muscle on him and was dieting in a way that he could make the weight cut easily. If he were some regular guy who worked out a bit without doing a lot of boxing and cardio and worrying that much about food he would definitely be over 200 pounds.

Oliver Reed. 5'10, 200lbs. Scary as hell.

But that might have something to do with the drink!

I'm 6ft and around 190lbs, but i'm the skinniest fat guy around
