Just wondering because since the last card of 2023, things have already changed in terms of frequency of fight nights. Is this because UFC 300 is coming, and also a Saudi fight card the UFC “Promised” they would deliver on? Are they saving fights and fighters for these events? Or changing their strategy to be more quality over quantity? What do you guys think?

The UFC/TKO will put on more washed down cards so the people and the media are focused on the shitty fights instead of Vince McMahon shitting on women

What exactly has changed? The UFC regularly takes about a month off at the end of every year.

Well at the end of the day they are contracted with there media partners to put on "x" amount of shows. So that is how many shows they put on.

What?

Dude they have contracts with Media partners written YEARS in advance. They have a certain amount of shows to put on a year. And a limited number of guys on the roster. Nothing has changed

The UFC is always slow to begin the year with the break. They seem to stack Feb- April, July, October- December at least post pandemic. They stack IFW, MSG, Abu Dhabi, Miami cards pretty consistently. May/June/ September PPV’s always suck.
