For the majority of people it seems to be that the first bust is damaging but failing a second test seems to seal the deal.

Anderson has 1 bust.
Brian Ortega has 1 bust.
Jones has 2
Vitor and Barnett have 17.

Does it make a difference? Is Anderson back in GOAT list?

Vitor was trying to knock out Super HWs, while Ortega and Jones try to fight little guys; and Josh Barnett thinks we care that he is 6 foot 4 and likes comic books.

Forgivable? Yea.
Forgettable? No.
I do not think the settlement with USADA will change anyone views on Silva. If you already thought he was the GOAT this is validation, if you thought he was a cheat you are suspicious of the settlement and can still point to another failed test

1x PED bust can be forgiven but when a fighter for example Jon Jones has multiple failed drug tests that include Steroids, Turinabol, Clomiphene & Letrozole then that said person's accomplishments have to be disqualified.

It doesn't help that Jon Jones has even gone to the resort if hiding underneath the cage to avoid drug testing from USADA and has even had the main event cancelled (UFC 200) for testing positive for PEDs

Not even gonna mention how bad was the CSAC hearing was for him.

If USADA went after him like they did Lance Armstrong, his MMA record be 0-1-0 with 23 NC and considering how the CSAC hearing went, they most likely will.

Only the last remaining Jones nutthuggers who live in Cuckistan would defend his PED usage by just saying that everyone else does it.

Anderson back in the GOAT list if he beats Romero

PED busts are only forgivable if it's a fighter that you like. Otherwise, fuck em.

One and done. Once you make the decision to cheat it’s over.

How about everybody quit being pussies and watch fighters do what they do and beat the piss out of each other. Roids or not, I want to see good fights.

Everyone is so hung up on this like you’re the one stepping in there and fighting.

Andy got his second hit revoked?

On topic,
IMO it depends on what and the circumstances on the test.
Example:
Cheetah got royally fucked up by a useless diet supplement.
And the dude even surrendered with the evidence.
I definitely forgive that.

Andy got USADAd with a steroid and claimed mistake.
Forgivable but not forgettable.
Same with Mini Mendes.

Getting caught multiple ocasions with Steroids or masking agents.
Like Barnnet or Pokes?

Go fuck yourself.
And i like Josh.

One positive test, out of any ”GOAT” discussions for good and ”legacy” gone. Two positive tests like Silva and such, no real effect on the fighters entertainment value, except for shelftime of course. Same with Barnett and his 23 positives - still a cool dude who I will enjoy watching. Like Silva. But both without ”legacy”

Anderson only used to recover from his freak accident, he's back at it. GOAT debate is between him and Fedor once again.

<{silvanormal}>

Anderson has zero busts. Tainted Viagra And tainted supplements. Still in the goat discussion.

For me testing positive is not only forgivable but highly preferable. It adds drama and nuance to forum debates, like allowing us to make PED jokes about fighters with impunity without worrying about dubs.

Just think about how boring Jon Jones' topics would be if he never failed a drug test, never got a DUI, never eyepoked and never did anything scummy period. Someone would make a topic claiming Jon Jones = GOAT, 99% Sherbros would agree and...that's it, /thread. Instead, we get butthurt DC and Jones fans lashing out against each other, @bigwaverider making cocaine shoops, and Martha Shen-Urquidez grilling the absolute shit out of him.

Life as a fight fan is infinitely more interesting when fighters test positive.

Tldr

Forgive?
Who give fucks about your holy bless

A forgettable thing in a fighter's legacy?
