It’s been over 20 years since I watched Dragon Ball Z but I kept expecting it to go in the direction that Mark would have some latent extra strength or power along the lines of Gohan and that he’d managed to score a surprise KO on Nolan at the last second but nope, couldn’t have been any further from the case.

Wonderful show. Realistic characters and conversations, tons of violence, and some sci-fi super hero stuff. My only complaint is that Amber is a terrible character. She treated Mark like shit through out the whole season, and kept looking for things to complain about. I was hoping they would have dropped her by the end.

The best episode happened to be the finale. Im shocked, the production values were pumped for the final. Some of the scenes were straight out of a high budget anime movie.

Id give it a perfect score and a 9 for the season. Just lovely.

Yeah I noticed that too. The animators for the action sequences for this episode were top-quality anime level.

Omniman holding his son in front of a subway train just to make him watch all of the people on it die is some of the darkest shit I've ever seen

It's actually worse than that. While Mark isn't quite as tough as his father, he's orders of magnitude more durable than any human. So some of the people would have died because they crashed into Mark. It would be like slamming into a steel pillar at high speed.

Nolan was literally using his own son as a murder weapon and forcing him to watch

Damn that was brutal to watch, great series.

A couple of things
What was the purple crystals in the room they were using lasers on? And are they trying to resurrect some members of the GotG?

Also want to see where they are going with Mars
story line and when Battle Beast is coming back.

Just hope hope the upcoming seasons are longer
then eight episodes.

Yes good point

Yeah. The whole "I knew all along and you still suck" was pretty dumb.

I wonder how long down the road before S2
hits because I have no idea how it takes to make
a single episode of a animated show.

You know how long as an episode show is
it has pretty fast pase.

These episodes are fairly long . Like Game of Thrones long. Most of the time Animated Shows are 20-25 Mins so we got good material out of 8 episodes for this debut season.

This was incredible. I've never been into animated shows like this, but this one hooked me in. I've never been as shocked in almost any other show, maybe except for GoT and the Dexter season 4 finale, as I was watching some of these episodes. Even the Boys didn't have my jaw on the floor like this show did.

Well done and I look forward to seeing more!

Watchimg this with my son. We love it. Characters are great. It knows what it is, hilarious and so fucking bloody. Its shocking to see it at times looks like it will be a 90's superhero cartoon bammmm bloody and gruesome. I cant wait to see more of Immortals back story or battle beast. Jk Simmons and mark hamil are awesome as always.

I fucking love this show. I was afraid it was gonna be woke, but it's not that bad. It's funny though that his girlfriend who is into feminism and "progressive" stuff, is a stereotypical angry/aggressive black female.

Yeah. Lol. I didn’t notice it until you pointed it out. It might be intentional as a sort of mockery of “Wokeism” and how it can stereotype groups, despite the idea being we shouldn’t stereotype people.

I don’t think we’re suppose to like her.

I hope we see more of those robot things in season 2 that they sent after Omniman in episode 6. It’s kind of crazy that they’re strong enough to annoy Omniman even in a group. And if Robot can control them it makes him the strongest guy on Earth.
