someone brought this to my attention--anyone know who this is? I dont believe I have ever told someone to keep training through pain and injuries, also, though I incorporate some HIT techniques, I am from being a HIT guy. I will be happy to pay for this guys plane ticket if he wishes to face me in person--not trying to be a net badass or anything, its just kind of interesting. Has this guy posted on here before?

keith

I think that's the guy who got into an argument with some regulars in the Lessons of Keith Wassung thread.

So you deny that ever happening?

Why is his squat 505 and dl only 315?

Keith check your PMs

He got banned what a shock....

it's scary what a little advice to a complete idiot can do....

505 squat and only a 315 deadlift??
165 OHP?!?

Look at his routine he posted up more it's filled with isolation exercises. Besides he got banned from there as well, it might be Yannick that was here.

Sorry this was posted twice...I dont deny as much as I dont remember it, His whole argument seems to be he acknowledged he was using poor form and was hurting and that I told him to disregard the pain (and the poor technique) and to just keep adding weight--now, that is very un-like my postings and my advice as I have always been very adamant about using what I often call "near perfect technique" I certainly dont remember having any type of an extended conversation with this guy,

I remember a post where you were saying that YOU yourself were never injured lifting because when you felt an injury could come on you would stop.

Probably just a case of a little information being more dangerous then no information at all, he probably just took some bits of info from what you wrote once and then thought that it would correct his poor lifitng.

Sorry about that Keith. That's my other username on that forum.

jk... :D

That guy is just an idiot trying to take out his frustration on somebody else. No doubt he was injured due to his own stupidity.

It's this guy.

Thanks to Keith Wassung and is lifting always heavy i been injured in my lower back for more then 5 years now.

Thanks Keith for the pain, always lift heavier deadlifts and more. Squats.

Many people get seriously injured while doing theses lifts.

What the hell is a powerlifted doing in an MMA forum anyways btw Keith i used to post on Fig Natural board of bodybuilding so its been a while.

My life is hell til that injury.

Another one.

Reviewing the HIT workout

Squats, puts a lot of trauma on the whole spin

Deadlifts, again very dangerous

Standing military press, spin bends in a way it shouldnt and the disk of the spin are crushed way to much while doing thoses.

Bench press is quit safe.

In my 5 years i have seen a lot of so called back specialist Chiro being the worst that scewed me up worst, sorry Keith i know you are a Chiro and with your great training advise you put money in your work i am sure.

Osteopath are the best i am seeing one that is getting me back on track after this 5 year of hell.

He gave me a good rehab program and has put me on a 3 full body split.

Leg press 3 X 10-12 lot of stress is removed from the spin and pelvic region and you can still lift heavy has hell

Leg curls 3 X 10 most of the time the quad is way to powerfull and the hamstring to weak, if you been injured for a while this can cause muscle imbalance and the pain in the lower back gets worst

Bench press 3 X 10

Bent rows 3 X 10 found thoses not to hurt my upper and lower back much better then chins for me right now

Seated behind neck press 3 X 10 remove all the stress from standing military press

For the hell of it dips 2 X max and bb curls.

Diet is the most important thing when you are training, and training heavy.

My plan now is to get back into a normal life with no pain and never follow the advise of a moron again in my life.

Most people here are young and think they are immune to injury, and more and more people are staying away from heavy squats, i am not saying not to do them but be very careful of the motion and forms, i would rather do the 20 rep squats with 220 pounds at 1 set now that is the best way to get full squat benefits.

I would just can the deadlifts in my 5 years i been to a lot of sport doctors and 95% of sport injuries from people who lifts weight comes straight from the deadlifts.

'thoses' - lol!
How can i get in contact with this guy? I want a personalised routine.

wow keith you messed this guy up...........lol

just kidding its too bad the guy wont put any blame on himself if you told him to jump off a bridge would he do it? Some people just need to use common sense. Its too bad though i imagine back injuries are one of the worst injuries you can have. I think a 505 squat with a 315 deadlift is begging for an injury. People need to remember to strengthen their body together and not to have such bad muscle imbalances.

I are doing squats too much hurt kneeses bad form Wassung teach bad me lats year.

Keith,

The only guy talking bad about you on the net can't even spell "potato" correctly....which makes me wonder.....you think it's Dan Quayle??

Regardless, you got a mass of people here and elsewhere with nothing but success stories and PRs attributed to your advice and your articles. It sucks that this idiot is dragging your name through the mud, but anyone with half a brain can see that the blame he's casting belongs in his own back pocket.

That guy's a retard. Literally.

I'm thinking of the simpsons when homer started using the lat pull down thign, with his head under the weights'

I'm going to feel this in the morning'
